The contrast of the Bold Theatre with the unbold does stop it being glance read as Threat Ireland

Maybe try adding iconography to the logo. My colleague likes the quirkiness of the #17 version of your logo, but I prefer this one. See also the note in the discussion regarding highlighting the TLC letters in TheatreLand Clothing
