I was working on this one before I read your comment. I can change the wood grain - were you thinking really dark or medium brown in color? Thank you for the feedback.
Changes to #35 - I made changes to the text colors. I also made the tagline the darker brown so it is more readable, but if you prefer I can change it back.
REF # 35 we really like the doctors bag concept--srry for the last minute changes--but could you center the words WOOD DOCTORS under the bag -and place a smaller (THE) over the word wood--the color scheme would be as follows--(THE is yellow---Wood needs to show more grain---DOCTORS needs to be green)--Tag line needs to be darker green--use the same cross--please see comment about replacing paint brush with 3 smaller tipped artist type brushes
Ok, I think I've covered everything requested. Let me know please if I've missed anything or misinterpreted anything. I think the two brushes works better than three - gives it a bit of breathing room. Thanks for the feedback. I'd be glad to make any additional updates.
can you make a sample tag line in kelley greene -also one in royal blue--we liked medic cross in the discarded # 35. can you insert it in entry #64 --can you make the yellow a little brighter in everything---We like very much what you're doing
I'm uploading two versions, both with a brighter yellow, one has the green tagline and the other a blue. The medical cross is actually the same as #35. Perhaps it appears differently against darker lines I added to the wood grain. Or did you mean to refer to a different version?
I made the tagline slightly bigger. I think perhaps the blue tagline takes attention away from the rest of the logo, since it is the only element with blue. If you eliminate the phone number, the slogan could be a bit bigger in a more cohesive color and fit nicely under the name. I imagine most your marketing materials will have the number visible, where it doesn't necessarily need to be part of the tagline. Of course it is ultimately your call.
everything looks great--good job!---we like the bigger font--give us your idea of co-hesive colors--and could you put call ooo-ooo-oooo under the tag line?
Thanks I'm uploading the version with the phone number under the tagline. I think that works better - it allows the tagline to be bigger (and thus more readable) without being wider than the name. I do think pulling a color from the logo would be more cohesive. That would mean either the brown or green. Yellow wouldn't read very well unless you are using it on a dark background. I'll upload with the brown version so you can see how it looks.
We are going to wrap the truck completely in a light to medium brown wood grain, could you put the white background in wood grain so we can tell what color to use for our tag line.
This should be the last thing we need and we really apreciate your efforts in working with us.
I added the wood grain. I made some slight modifications for it to look best against this background - the green tends to blend in so I added a shadow to the leaf and an outline to the word Doctors. Also the shadow of the bag should be subtle and gray against the wood makes it too obvious, so I made it a brown that would blend nicely. I'm uploading the tagline with brown, blue and I also did a version in white which I think could also work very well against the woodgrain.
I could supply both versions - one for printing on white and a modified version for the woodgrain background.
yes that would be great --- could you supply both versions once we recieve those -- we are selecting you as the winner--great communication--great job--what else can we say!
Thank you very much. Once you select the winning design then I'll have access to upload the files. Then you have to approve the files before Logo Tournament releases the prize.
This was definitely an enjoyable project to work on, and your feedback has been very helpful. Thank you
shammy we did not get the design with the blue tag line --unless its in the eps file which i cant open--can you send the design with the blue tag line --or tell me if its in the eps file
I had sent a message - maybe it didn't go through. Logo Tournament only lets me upload one file (EPS and jpg) at a time. The EPS file requires Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator to open (I'm not sure, but it might open with Acrobat Reader also). Even if you can't open it, keep this file, since it is what a printer will request to have it printed, because this format will scale up and down without loss of quality. I'll send the blue tagline against the white background. Once you've downloaded that, I'll replace it with the versions for the woodgrain. Unless you have an email you'd like me to send the files to.
