Hi, thank you! My two favorites are #25 and #17. My least favorite is #16 as the metallic look seems too cold. I am ruling out #30 and #20 because I don't care for the bride image. I LOVE the font you are using for Less Stress More Money. Please rework #25 and #17 if you can, using some other image or mark to depict "wedding" to replace the bouquet part. Thank you!!!
Thank you for the revisions. I like #38 much better. I think the pink is too strongly feminine. I would like to see it in blue, keeping everything the same. And also other color combinations using blue and also changing the black to something else. I am not sure what direction to give you for #40, 37, and 39. I like 42 the best of that group, prefer that font. I have to go into a meeting and will give more feedback later.
Thank you again! I think 40 & 41 and 37 & 39 are interesting. I prefer 41 over 40. For 37 & 39 could you bring the rings in a little to free up white space where they are touching the black, and interlock them a bit?
You are definitely in the top 5, one of the other top designers pulled all his designs so I'm waiting for him to resubmit so that I can rank. I especially like 101, 102, 41.... will keep you posted!
Hi, thanks for your designs. The "the" needs to be as prominent as "wed photo coach" for the final design. I prefer the font in #101 for now for "wed photo coach".
I think the main font need to be all caps, elegant but strong and clear. I would be interested in seeing some serif fonts such as Optimus Princeps and similar. I like to the upper/lower script font for the tagline and am interested in seeing some different ones that are clearer to read.
I think all big caps is good vs upper/lower for the main text. Don't like the "p" in #138 and #139, prefer 143 and 144 better. I like the variations of tagline font that you are showing me. Glad that the rings are vector. Are you familiar with press print capabilities? Is this gold within standard CMYK color range?
The gradients in the rings are all built in cmyk format colors. But, illustrator doesn't give a "gamut" warning like you can get in photoshop. However, since they are straight cmyk builds and not pms colors or rgbs, i am assuming they should work fine. (Greens tend to be the hardest things to acurately print colorwise).
Would you like me to try some more all big cap fonts?
Hi, not quite sure what you mean by show me? Do you want me to use that tagline font on the entry you currently have as first? Or did you just want to know what it is ? Or.... c
Sorry, but I am still confused since there are samples of that up (basically what you are looking at now); so am wondering what other font (main title font) i should be pairing those tagline fonts with? Or did you want the title and the tagline in the same font?
Thank you, C! You are not out of the running. The designer in the #1 spot is traveling until Monday and he has asked me to put his design in #1 so that he can submit the revisions I've asked for. I will wait to pick a winner until I hear from him. I still love #152!
Thanks for letting me know, but am guessing since i am sitting in third there's not a big chance. However, it was great working with you no matter which way it goes and won't pull anything until you mark it as out or contest over. Carla
Thanks for not pulling anything. I will keep you updated. I think you do awesome work!!! I am having a hard time picking. I did not envision anything quite so bold as #152, yet I keep coming back to it. A very memorable design...
Hi, it's me again. I was noticing that on the focus/shutter symbol, i had just traced it from your old logo, and have noticed that individual "blades" are not of equal size/shape. So, redid that portion (the all black area) and made sure everything was centered and equal. I also tried the blades in a shade of blue violet (which is a softer look but still clean). If you would like me to upload those corrected versions (I would, of course, need to be temporarily put into first while i uploaded, but could be moved back out immediately after of course), please let me know by message so that i don't miss the opportunity. (Might not make a huge difference, but sometimes things like that can subtlely affect how someone sees something.)
Wow- I was just thinking of you. I'd love to see those. Also, I am trying to "feminize" the logo. I added a gold line around the logo, and also replaced the font with one I like better. Here is a rendering of what I did, if you could do the same, and anything else that you think might make it look more elegant.
Thanks, Carla! Lots of good ideas here, I appreciate your work on this.
#172- can you make a version where the gold band is centered around the black, but not touching the black. This version the circle looks slightly off-center. I like the spacing of the gold ring on the lower left, so it needs to be enlarged, too.
#172- also can you make a version where the gold band touches the black?
#173- I like the calming color, also wedding-y...can you add a gold band to this?
I will be traveling for the next two days so wanted to give you a heads-up that I may not be able to get to a computer much, so (1) no need to rush on these and (2) know that I may not be able to get back to you for a while.
I am VERY pleased with all these- thanks again!!!!
thanks again for the feedback and direction! I have put the new entries up. I did (on the blue ones with the gold circle, go ahead and do 2 versions where the circle is a gradient gold (one is horizontal gradient, other vertical) with one of the same gradients as the ring. Don't know if that adds anything or not, so just threw it out there. The other bands are the same gold tone as the tagline. Let me know if there is anything else you would like to see. Hope you have fun on your travels. C
Thanks again for all your work! I would like an ai file with the fonts NOT embedded, compatible with Illustrator CS2. Also, please send both fonts, Mac-compatible if possible. Any questions, comment here or email direct to liz@lizify.com.
