Here are some of my proposals. Instead of creating a separate icon / typography combination, I've created an all encompassing logo / unit. One that can be used for additional elements just as watermarks and favicons.
The logo is 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
And to show the flexibility, I've put the logo onto a dark background, whilst keeping some of the teal. And also on a teal background, in all single coloured white.
#36. Could you take off the rounded part above and below the WAX SHOP. We like the straighter lines on this design. We like the fonts on all the words. We are not going to use the GROOMED slogan as this is a primary female demographic. Could you also put "Established 2013" or "Est 2013" where the darker teal design now sits, directly under the bold line under the WAX SHOP.
#30. Could you incorporate some different colors into this, some of the darker teals and grays you have in the other designs. We like the design and look of this, but would like to see some color variation. Please also take out the GROOMED slogan. Could you also try some different fonts on the word THE.
#42. We really like the simplicity of this design. Would you change the following. Take the ornate design on the bottom and put it on the sides, similar to how #26 looks. Dont use the design from #26, just put it to the sides of WAX SHOP like you have on #26. Then under the bottom bold line would you please put the Established in 2013, or Est. 2013 on. Let's see how that looks.
#50, #51 and #52 Are the variations of the original #36. I've taken of the rounded elements and added the Est 2013 (and tried a few formats).
#53, #54 #55 and #56 Are the variations for #30. I've taken out the text and experimented with colour combinations. I've also tried different fonts for the word "The"
And #57, #58 and #59 Are the new options for #42. With #57 I took the ornate design and literally turned it sideways and put it on the sides. But then I wondered if the smaller inner curves looked odd (still can't decide), so I changed them around in #58 (and also tried a short Est 2013). And then #59 is a version of #57 but I added a vertical line to hold those inner curves.
