The Tour de TraceLogo Design Contest

Dear Designers - did we mentione we love creativity and logotournament?? We love to create business ideas, but really are awful at creating logos. Therefore we LOVE to see you at work, and honor the creativity of the right side of your brain.

For this logo it should be sporty - to conincide with the sport of professional cycling. If you have ever seen it - it is very colorful and full of sponsorship logos and bright colors. Watching a professional race go by is like watching a bunch of butterflies go right past you - it is that visually stunning.

The big cycle races have sporty logos that incorporate a bicycle component in them. We thing that is a good idea. I have attached a couple for your reference as well as websites of their races.

I think it would personally be very cool to have a chrome or brushed aluminum font that is retro and off of an old juke box or refridgerator. I simply don't know what style that is.

Anyway - please know we are really looking forward to working with you and will comment and rate daily and sometimes hourly so we won't waste your time.

Also have an update - one of the quintessential pieces on the Natchez Trace Parkway is the arched bridge. The elements of this bridge could build well into a design Here is a picture:

Thanks for your designs - looking also for colors that are vibrant and a dash of yellow (for the yellow jersey) and perhaps some hunter green etc. We have cleared out our pockets and have increased the prize amount as we want a very sharp logo that expresses sports, nature, fun and the excitement of pro cycling. Thankyou.

Also this race will be in October and the riders and crowds will see plenty of deer and wild turkey on the route. Also might be good to add a splash of color like the sun rise, wildlife or wildflower? Keep those ideas coming - we love them!

Wow are we excited - you guys and girls are great - these are so creative - we will have a hard time deciding. Please do NOT withdraw your logo if you are not ranked high at the moment.
