Really think the bird is interesting! Can you please visit alternative colors and explore adding patina to the font. We would also like to explore additional ways of introducing the "grand hotel" so that it feels a little bit more rustic or western. Also would it be possible to view this design in a frame as it is important for us to visualize the logo on an exterior sign.
These are great! Thanks for submitting these updates. Could you do one with the shape of 49 with a black bird and the color and some of flair you have added to 67,68,69. Also could we tweak the font for "grand hotel" so it is a little bit more legible when smaller. Really loving how these are coming together!
G'moornig to ya! Will have it done within a couple of hours sir. I am currently out of the office and will getting back there ASAP and oploading your variant even faster than ASAP! Sorry about the delay... A small family matter has occurred.
Michael, thanks for the new additions. Can you produce a black and white version of #113 that we can use for collateral? Also, we love the bird! Can we produce a separate file for just the bird. We want to be able to potentially use the bird as a rubber stamp, golf shirts, etc.
Hey ameeshrpatel... upon completion of the contest you will receive a whole template thats full of all the goodies! Four color version Two color version One color version and inverse variant and of course.... the bird ;)
The B/W look great! Is there another font we could use for the "Grand hotel" I am worried it may be a little hard to read when used in a smaller format.
Could we also get s version where we don't have the established in 1880 but with the design similar to the one used in 116 or another other decorative feature you think would fit the space nicely. We have some branding concerns around having the establish in 1888 as the hotel has only been around since the early 2000's and don't want confuse our guests.
Like the chandelier type ornament but perhaps a bit simpler.
Could we make the 'grand hotel' text bigger, worried that people might shorten it to the Tombstone.
I would be interested in seeing a few other font options as well. Would also love to see what a simpler approach would look like, can we try a few solid background fills in 118, perhaps a slate, midnight blue, turquoise.
Two variants uploaded #129 and #130. There are thousands of fonts on the market... i really don't know what else you would like to see :(
And as for your comment I would be interested in seeing a few other font options as well. Would also love to see what a simpler approach would look like, can we try a few solid background fills in 118, perhaps a slate, midnight blue, turquoise.
Are you referring to only the background or the design itself? Michael
The design we are leaning towards is 118, really like the shape, "the", "tombstone". Can you increase the size/weight of "grand hotel" (keeping the same font). And change the established in year to 2003.
With the font, the main concern is legibility, I think if we increase a bit and add a little weight to it should be fine. I do like the font in 15 because it complements the slanted "the", could we see a version of that?
With the colors, we don't need the design to change just want to try a few solid background colors. See the photo of a color mood board attached for inspiration, would love to see what you come up with. Below are a few options from this link I like http://www.envirocloak.com/images/RAL-Colour-Chart-01.jpg.
Hi Ameesh... Cool on the logo variations but the link you've sent me for the color variations is not working. I'm going to check your first uploads to see if i can muster up something close to what you are referring to.
The colors chosen were a dusty turquoise (light and a bit darker), medium/light grey with slight brown/red undertones, and a flagstone brown. I used RAL number codes if that helps any.
Thank you, this is helpful! I think we are nearly there! Can you bring the "the" down a little- it looks a little too close to the top edge, can we clean up the curve on the established in 2003- the '0's look a little jumbled, and can we make the 'grand hotel' just a tiny bit bigger.
Sorry, I was referencing the colored options, but would like to see the changes on a white background for now. I like the spacing on 118 but can we get the "grand hotel' to be just a bit larger than in the colored background options.
Also, can we see a version where the "Tombstone" has the font shadow(like 118) and one without it(colored background)?
Thanks, we are soo close! Want to try just one more thing.
Can we move the 'grand hotel' in 140 to the left just a bit so that it is better centered?
Also can we try the turquoise from 139 as the outline/font color with a white background? And the reverse, with the color from 139 as the background color within the frame with white as the outline/font color?
