Hi EdNal, great start! I'm attaching some general comments below but first let me make some individual suggestions on this logo. First off, your overall design and use of space and symmetry is the BEST! Also, your STOP sign is the perfect size and so far it's the very best style and design! The hippie man is very good but it may need a few adjustments, like definitely give him a beard... The clothes are ok. Can you raise the sun up and give it some more details... I uploaded a sun photo to give you a some an idea although it does not have to look like that necessarily. You could also try adding a little blue sky or clouds but that may not work if it makes it too busy. It is simple now and we like that. Start with adding a beard and moving the sun up and adding some flares to the sun or some other details.... Also, can you make the letters at the bottom larger so that they are more readable from a distance.... That may mean you need to make the grass larger too... Grass looks great though... thanks!
general comments: #5 and #9 has the best hippie man, but he definitely needs to have a beard... #9 has the best STOP sign! We like the font used on 'the Taco' in the STOP sign in #7 but it could be bigger and more readable. #8 has nice looking letters at the bottom on 'Tacos Burritos Nachos' but the words should all be aligned instead of 'Nachos' being at the bottom. The words in #9 are good the way they are curved, but straight looks good too, as long as they are big enough to read. The grass in #9 is great. Please feel free to use more colors and detail in the sun or sky and the sun should be high in the sky like the stop sign. I uploaded another picture (see sun1.png) to let you see as a reference to how to use more colors in the sun.
Hi thanks for your feedback, here are the updates #11 #12. The man now have a beard, the sun higher and more detail, the words under the grass now also bigger than before and more colorful, added sky in #12, and also change the TACO word to more fun font. Please let me know what you think.
I liked your older designs without the sky.... Like #11 and #19.
We do not like the sun stripes on the face. Try something else like using more colors. Check out the sun picture I uploaded for reference (sun1.png).
Start with #11 or #19 again. We love your grass in those. Use all red letters (like #9 but larger letters) at the bottom or larger yellow letters (like #11 but with smaller (a thinner) red border).
The color of the sun #9 is nice.... just make it higher in the sky and add sun flares and more details like described above.
The design with the two flowers is great but please remove the flower on the left and leave the one on the right. Just one flower is fine. Add one butterfly.
The new design with the straight mustache is not as good as the design with a more full beard. We do like the change of colors in the clothes... BUT the skinny jeans does not look as good as something more relaxed (for pants) like what we see in #17. The guitar is kinda cool. I don't think you need a sky at all, just a better sun... So far I like #19 and #9 sun the best from your designs. I like how the taco is angled in #35 and I like the way he holds the sign in #31, #32, and #33. Those are good overall, but we don't need that sky and the letters aren't as good as say #9, or #17. Let's see if you can do these changes and then maybe I'll have some more feedback. Thanks for your detailed feedback, it really help me to got the right track. Here is the revision #36. which is featured: - New detailed and colorful sun - one flower, one butterfly - a full beard instead of straight mustache - angled taco - more relaxed pants instead of skinny jeans.

Start with #37: 1) Remove the butterfly (no butterfly at all) 2) Change the letters in the STOP sign to look like #39 3) Remove the purple and the blue colors out of the sun (nice try but simpler is better 4) Move the sun a little higher and more to the left so that it does not touch the man or the guitar at all... More like #19. 5) Submit one version of the logo that has no sun at all (remove sun completely)
Thank you for your quick response... This looks great and we have no additional suggestions at the moment... Let me check with my client to see how he likes this and I will be back in touch with you... Also... (assuming that you are the winner) we may hire you to create more graphics for us for our website in development. We want to add this logo on top of a background scene and get some more graphics for the site (like graphic letters/headers using the font you used here)... It will probably be a little bit at a time. I suppose we could get your email address and pay you via PayPal for your work after this contest ends. Anyway, it's looking good for now but we may request a version that doesn't have the words "Tacos Burritos Nachos" so that we can use that logo on the front of the t-shirt and the one with the words on the back... Looks great for now and I will be back in touch with you tmrw.

I wanted to go over a couple of requests before you send in the final files.
1) Could you please remove the white space inside the two holes in the top (head) of the guitar? Make it transparent there in case the image is placed in front of a background, the background color will show through.
2) Could you please send all the files (in all the latest (4) versions) to my email address. It's thesonicproject@gmail.com
3) Could you please include the following formats for each version: EPS, AI, PNG, JPEG.

I still plan on hiring you to do some more graphic work for the website that matches the colors and style of this logo. Basically a background scene that will look good as a header. I will email you more details about this soon as I have an update.
