The Steuben GroupLogo Design Contest

Very nice! I really like the font and the logos. Entry #44 is very sharp and crisp--but I like #42 because it connotes people sitting around a table--in addition to focus and clarity. Can you play with the colors for #42 and come up with some other options that are a bit bolder?

Another request: can you do shadowing under the logo and/or the name? Feel free to try different colors to give a sense of diversity coming together for the logo...

I really like #58. Do you know how to put a shadow under "The Steuben Group" font? If so, I'd like to see that.

Thank you. What I meant by shadow was to put a shadow under The Steuben Group as though the light source was above it. I've seen some logos that cast a shadow this way and I'm curious to see how it would look under the words...

After looking at your designs, I decided that the gold and black (entry 61) looks the most executive and stands out. See if you can put a shadow underneath The Steuben Group (but not touching the letters)...

Im sorry i was little confuse about the shadow, i've made with shadow again on #97 and #98

I like 97. Can you experiment with angling the shadow to the left or to the right? Right now, you have the shadow going straight down--which looks nice, but I'm curious how it would look slightly angled...

Also, could you try one where there is white space underneath the letters and one solid shadow underneath that? If you look at other designs out there, I've seen other designers create this effect underneath a logo...so I'm curious as to how it would look underneath the words...

Thank you for trying--I think 97 still looks the best. I don't like the angling of 105--and the shadowing is too much on 104.

Can you try out some different shades of gold for the logo?

Also, I like less shading for the letters--instead of the entire letter, I prefer half...

Could you create a gold color for the logo that is halfway between the gold ranking cup and the bronze ranking cup? Also, I meant above to say that I like halfway shadowing underneath the letters better than full letter shadowing...

Also, could you show me how it looks with the word "Group" in gold?

I like 146--but I'd still like you to make the color more gold looking and less bronze looking...

slightly different between them are the color of the the hilite on the center of logo

I'd prefer the color to be solid, but more gold looking and less bronze looking.

I think you've got it with 185. I like that as my primary logo.

--186 as a backup (when I'm printing and reproducing on paper)
--185 put into the format of 116
--185 and 186 as just the logo
--185 and 186 as just "The Steuben Group"

Can you deliver all of those versions to me as part of this contest?
