Our Ideas & Additional Information
The Shift Drink is a term used to describe the period after a restaurant shift, when the staff gets together and hangs out.

The term "Shift" also indicates something new and cool, which describes our publication does.

We would like something very simple, sans-serif or subtle serif is okay. Bold or semi-bold is okay (but open to all font suggestions).

We are looking for a play on the word "shift", indicating new way of looking at things. And or possible a play on drink. But only if it can be achieved in a simple, clever manner.

We have attached examples of other clever wordmarks that we like. Note also this will be used on the top of each cover.

Hey all ... looking forward to see what you come up with ... I will try and give quick public responses to all questions.

And a couple additional notes:

- please check out the attached pictures for the level of minimalism
- feel free to stick to black, white and greys for now
- while the wine related icons look great, they don't quite fit with the target demo (beer, mixed drink cups, "cheers"ing, would all work a little better)
- the arrows plays look great too, but are not exactly what we are looking for, so if you are hitting a roadblock with the drinks and shift graphics, see the option below for a cleaner, more general play on "shift"

A lot of very clever plays here ... really appreciate the creativity.

One additional note however, any word play would have to be really simple (very limited use of iconic graphics), instead just playing on the letters and or space between them with minor variations. We realize this is difficult, but please feel free to keep the ideas coming.

That said, another option is to use a simple, clean shift of the words or letters. We uploaded a few more images for reference. Thank you again for all the great designs so far and feel free to follow up with any questions!

Just want to thank everyone for the great work. We are on a project so if we are a little out of touch that is why, but we will confer over the next few days and get this sorted.

And not sure how things work on the backend, but to anyone who submitted an entry please let us know if you are ever in Las Vegas - we would love to buy you a drink!
