Hi Geoff, here's my proposal. I incorporated river element at the word "river" and golf element at "course". I think these elements are works well to represent the company name. I made it as simple as it possible considering the logo will be embroided. I hope it make sense, let me know what you think. Any feedback would greatly appreciated

HA! Yes, A-ha works, too : ) I REALLY dig the 'R" treatment in #9 and in #10. Explore that some more, please? Try versions without the ball or flag. I think they'll still be strong! Thanks, Ryo.

I made a silhouette of a river that resemble as letter R as requested. I added a golf flag to make it looks more like a golf course with a river rather than just a river. Let me know what you think about this. I hope this one is on the right direction. If you have any thought or suggestion please feel free to ask. We can discuss it together to find the best logo for you.

Okay Geoff, here we go. Added blue color to represent river, and green grass to represent course. I made it with solid and gradient version. Let me know what you think. I will be more than happy to hear your feedback.
Wow.. Thanks for puting me back to the 1st rank geoff. Well, just want to add a thought as your consideration. As you said at the brief that the logo will be used with or without text. And I think this logo works well to be recognized as a golf course with river when it's stand alone without text. The audience will immediately know it at first glance so it will be more easier to remember. I hope it make sense : )
Hi, Ryo. Still playing around with top 5 designers. Reques for #65 -- is there any way to use the same "R" shape that's going through the circle to modify the letter "R" in the "River" text? Make sense? Also -- some more subtle/subdued color options, perhaps? Please and thanks! ~Geoff

Also -- since you're a top 5 designer, I'd like you to try something, please: There is a big clock on a tower at the front of the River Course Clubhouse. Could you try using the hands of a clock to form the 'V' in RIVER? You can try different kinds of clock hands (simple, ornamental, etc.). Please and thanks, ~Geoff
