Hey there - I've uploaded some new entries as a response to your latest comments on the contest page #33, #34. I've removed "Kiawah, Island" and I removed the golf ball indentations. Please let me know if you would like to see any changes. And thank you for the ranking.

Hi, Ignacio.
#87 is becoming everyone's favorite. I'm not sure if you realize (or if it was intentional) but the crescent shape
is like the crescent shape on the South Carolina state flag which is a perfect touch!
One request: Would you try some different typefaces? Any color options are welcome, too.
Please and thanks for your great work!

Hey Geoff - Thank you! Whenever I design for an organization where the geography is important, I always research the state flag to see if there is anything I can incorporate. I thought that the palmetto would be too restrictive as far as imagery and so the crescent moon worked perfectly in a subtle way. I'm very glad you and your group picked up on this.

I will upload some typeface variations for you and perhaps two or three color options. Once the variations are uploaded, we can combine the typeface with the color as you prefer.

Thanks again. I'll work on this and upload the variations shortly.

Ignacio

Hello Geoff,

Please take a look at new entries, #259, #260, #261, #262. I'm showing you another sans serif, a serif, a handwriting font and another font that's somewhere in between. Please let me know if any of these are more in the direction you'd like to see. I also treated each entry with a different color, keeping it to the softer hues. If you'd like to see one of the typefaces in a different color, please let me know.

Looking forward to your feedback.

Great. Can I see #259 #260 and #262 but with the colors from #87.
Also -- which one do YOU prefer. Interested in your opinion.
Thanks!

Hey Geoff,

Please take a look at #268, #269 and #270.

As far as my favorite, I like #87 best. The reason is related to the font. This typeface is one of my favorites right now because it looks very modern while at the same time nods to the more traditional. Alone I think it's very elegant, and when combined with the icon, it serves well in its support - much like a frame. I went through several hundred fonts before I decided on this one for my design. It's such a simple design that many typefaces end up overpowering the image or making the whole thing look gimmicky. I believe that #87 has a very good balance and sophistication. So there you go - my two cents...lol.

Please let me know if you would like to see any other changes or variations.

Thank you -
Ignacio

Hey Geoff - for #307 and #308, I changed up the bird slightly by using a combination of the colors I introduced earlier. I also reintroduced the sans serif font from an earlier entry.

Thank you very much!
