The Recess LeagueLogo Design Contest

The Recess League is soccer reimagined. We're bringing back the energy, chaos, and creativity that led people to fall in love with the game in the first place. We are a league of 8 soccer teams (11v11) that play soccer under 10 new rules designed to address the pain points of modern soccer and make it electric. Games are high scoring and fast-paced and entertainment is nonstop. We are a new soccer league with new rules designed to bring back that feeling of Recess soccer when we were little, where there was no stress and solely community and having fun with your friends.

The primary audience are Americans who enjoy soccer. These fans experience nostalgia from things like the Jabulani ball and the original Barclay's Premier League patch. These people watch soccer but some don't love the game because of the slow pace of it. This would be similar to people who watch BananaBall from the Savannah Bananas; they are not all baseball fans, but they want to have a fun time with their family while constantly being entertained. That is our target audience.

I would like to limit the amount of blacks and greys in use. I want about 3-4 main colors. The colors should be bright but not neon. I would like Blues to be incorporated as a base color. As for the other main colors, please feel free to experiment. I have messed with Orange and Yellow fades and also Greens and Pinks. The inspiration links I will attach should help explain my ideas for colors.

I am open to "The Recess League" or "Recess League" for this competition.

The logo should be appealing to kids and parents alike as it will be on all jerseys and televised across the nation.
