Should be an open crate as the central symbol, tilted slightly for a dynamic and inviting feel, symbolizing openness and creativity across audio, lighting, and film.
Multimedia Elements:
Within the open crate, integrate a film reel, and a stylized audio wave. These elements come together to signify the holistic approach of The Open Crate Collective, covering audio, and film production.
Color Palette:
Utilize a modern and sophisticated color palette consisting of white, grey, black, and a hint of purple. White and grey can dominate the background, while black adds depth and definition. Introduce the purple as an accent color for specific details, such as the film reel and audio wave. Consider incorporating subtle gradients to evoke lighting effects.
Typography:
Pair the logo with a clean and modern typeface for "The Open Crate Collective" that complements the color palette.
and finally
Style:
We're aiming for a sleek and professional style, balancing the visual elements to create a cohesive and memorable brand image. The logo should convey a sense of creativity, innovation, and collaboration across all aspects of media production.
On one side of the open crate, integrate a film reel element. The film reel can be partially unraveled, suggesting a continuous flow of cinematic expression. The film reel element can be stylized with filmstrip lines and subtle detailing to emphasize its association with video production.
Thanks for getting back to me. I'm glad I could bring back a fond childhood memory. I've reviewed the new submissions. They aren't quite fitting with the ideology of my logo briefing or any of the images I submitted as reference.
The first thing to consider is the company's name Open Crate Collective. The icon has to be some sort of box, or a cube, or a crate. It has to be easily recognizable as some sort of squared object. It has to be 3 dimensional. But it also has to represent media because that is what my company is at the end of the day. An Audio Visual Production Company. These are the minimum requirements.
What drew my attention to your initial logo was the fact that there was still a cube in the image but it also had this moon man. And as I said, no one else out of the almost 400 logos I've received so far has thought to add a mascot. Now I don't necessarily need or want a mascot if the main focus which is the cube is exactly what I'm looking for but if the mascot you add gives it that extra flavor that I didn't know I needed then that is just a win.
My concern is that the mascot, whatever it ends up being, HAS to represent Audio Video Production. It has to be simple. It can't be cartoony. Think Movies, Think Music Studio, Think Hollywood. That is the kind of production company we are. But like I said the Box is THEEE most important part of the whole thing because the name of the company is Open CRATE Collective
Hey JJ, I’m still looking for a box/crate. Similar to what you did with the astronaut. And the mascot has to be something audio video production related.
real curious to see what you come up with. Not a single person before you has introduced a potential mascot and now my interest is completely peaked. Can't wait to see what you come up with given all those parameters.
this one is interesting. Wonder where the astronaut came from. Wasn't really looking for a mascot but now that you've introduced it, I wonder if there's a mascot more suited for the company and the industry that the company is actually in.
I don't have any ideas to give but I will tell you that the company is an Audio Visual Production Company. We deal with everything relating to sound video lighting whether it be for concerts or corporate events or movie production. etc. I'm not sure what a mascot for all of that would look like but I 100% want to make sure there's an actual open crate involved int the thing. I uploaded another logo for my other company which is this company's brother company. That is the Broken Box logo. take a look at that for the coloring. I'm looking for that exact coloring.
