The Novo GeekLogo Design Contest

Looking forward to everyone's creative ideas. We will be making comments numerous times through the day and constantly keeping the submission Ranked.

Looking really good so far everyone. I must say there are some really clever ideas out there! We have been trying to think in what direction we want this to go and we have some basic thoughts ...but we are really open to anything. Don't hold back and go nuts with this.

HI everyone.. Thanks for putting in your time to submit. We are really getting inspired by some of these ideas. We see a few people submitting character in the artwork with a THUMB UP.. Lets try to stay away from using that. We really want the The NOVO Geek to come out more than the character. Remember You don't even need a character either. We are partial either way at this time. But Lean towards the Text portion.

Thanks for everyone's submissions. It's been exciting looking through these each day. Just to keep everyone on the same track we want you to focus on the Words The Novo Geek more than the Character or no character at all is good too. We like to see everyone's creativity and a Characters is not needed it could be also something that is associated to a GEEK.

Just a quick update... The group reviewing these has decided not to use a character but rather just trying to incorporate a pair of Black Think Rimmed glasses to the logo similar to these:

These designs are coming out great and we like how people are starting to get clever with the Glasses in the logo. We've seen mostly people submitting the logo horizontal but nothing stacked yet. Anyone have any concepts on a STACKED logo idea too? Let's see what you can come up with.

Update on the Glasses.. I just got schooled that Tape on the Glasses is a NERD and not a GEEK and there is a big difference. Sorry for the confusion but let's stay away from the tape on the nose.

The designs people are coming out with are just amazing.. This is going to be so hard to have to pick just one!! There are so many we like. Keep the ideas going. The group had a few ideas and from your submissions we are really drilling down to the look and feel which will best represent the company.

Love the work coming through and thanks for everyone's quick response back with ideas. I know we've been working with the Glasses in the logo a bit and it seems to work we feel people may identify the company as a Optometrist office or something different. So looking for image ideas which encompass a GEEK (but not a nerd) keeping it simple, not to ornate or complex and compliment the words "The Novo Geek" and can be used with or without the image. Thanks for eveyones ideas on this.
