Discussion

#6 I like the flow, balance and energy of the logo. The yellow is not part of my color scheme so I am not keen on that. I like the movement of the text. I'm wondering if it would look or how it would look wrapped around the logo in some way.

Please refer to my contest again as I have taken the advice on the forum and shortened my biz name as well as the tag line. I love the balance, energy and flow of the logo from mokreva. I submitted that perhaps a yellow does make it pop more than my original color scheme. Beckys #9 design incorporated everything however, this happened at the same time as my name adjustment. I like her creativity and looked for more of a POP or splash with color. My sense of it, too, is that it is not as "gentle" or flowing as I would like to repreesent myself. Thus far, the impact of 1 and the style of 10 are my favorites.

#1 and #10 are my top choices. Sorry for the repeat, did not put the # sign in my last post and it suspect that matters. Please refer to above post for more details. Thanks so very much! Doreen

#9, #11, #12 Thank you Becky. These just don't feel like me. They have a more "body builder" or "bullet point" look to me. I am really trying to be specific however creativity is not my strong point in describing art. Maybe its the "swelling" or "pumped" look. Oh, I hope I am clear enough.

I do TRULY resect the effort and a said, at first blush I was taken with the original creative impact.

Thank you very much Doreen. I appreciate the feedback even if my idea didn't meet your needs. What an inspirational person you are! Thanks again for your honesty. Feedback is hard to come by in this game and you have been very helpful. I'll give it another go after I give it some more thought :-)

#25....I like this Peg....It feels very original and I like both type style very much. #17 Thank you Becky, howver, its just not what I was going for...you are correct of course about the symbolism. :) #21 has come more into what I was thinking. I hope this helps. This is hard because I see so much effort and talent here,

Peg was on target with her review of #27. Not what I had in mind. I still prefer #25.

Thank you for the continued submissions. I considering all that I have ranked. This puts me in an awkward position that is new to me. There are more logos to look at and that is what I am doing. The difficulty for me is articulating in the terms that are so part of your every day language. I am not an artist so I am going only with what I can feel about what I see. I regret any disappointment this has caused to anyone out there. I like all of these however am more intrigued and interested by some as well.

I am going to be out of town all day and not able to go on line. I depart at 6:30 am so this is going to be it for the day.

Again, I am sorry for any discomfort. I have NOT yet made my decision.

Respectfully,

Doreen

And its 4:15 am and I can't even rank with certainty so just bear with me. I'll rank just to get my thoughts out there as to what I do find compelling. The 1,2,3,4......is not concrete.

Thank you to every Designer, I will be spending time with this today and I am able to end this tomorrow as dictated. I was out of town all day yesterday. I like design #41 but it may feel too feminine. The empowering and uplifting feel I encouraged is represented, but again, might be too feminine. At new day I also like #36 here as it feels “alive” and I sense the flow I looked for in a logo. As does #31 with arms uplifted and “body” seeming to push forward. I like that.

#33 and #34 are intriguing as they step into a different type of look and flow. I am considering this look as well. Thank you.

And since I am called on to be honest, #37, #38, and #39 are VERY good however, the “person” feels trapped inside. It’s just my gut feeling so perhaps not how others would see it but it’s my concern. I like the “person” and the rest of the design aspects.

And #35, the Design is lovely but the Well being and Well Body are separated by the logo and in my business, they are one. Make sense?

Does that make sense? So there is where I am now. I am attempting to be honest and helpful. This is very hard because PEOPLE are involved and I am very sensitive to that aspect of the Tournament.

Kind regards, Doreen and again, thank you!

Thank you....I saw this after a morning run that felt "Zen like" so this was serendipitous. :) # 43, #44, #45 Nice! Really! I am off to work for the day.....home this eve to view and focus. I do like this design! The Zen Stone aspect is ESPECIALLY appealing. Do you think it will resonate with people who are not familiar with the Zen concept? That is a concern of mine......

And....#43...like the stronger impact of the darker color scheme........very much.

#46, #50, #50, #51....yes, open, reaching, unemcumbered…..much more representative of my business. I’m finding myself drawn to the impact of the brown color I have in my profile that #43 took hold of.

Thank you again!!!!!!!!!! Doreen

I am going into work. I have ranked those I LIKE and they are not in any order at this time. I simply want to share what I do like in the limited time I have this day.

Thank you!

Greetings,

I have extended the contest 2 days not to irritate or anything of that nature...only to take the pressure off of myself in this difficult process. I will be able to select at the end as I don't have the "luxury" of a week from close. Thank you so very much.

Respecfully,

Doreen

Thank you for the overwhelming amount of entries and extraordinary talent represented. I have tried respectfully to leave feedback. I like the flow, energy and movement represented in many. While the “figures” captivated me at first, I have moved away from this concept. Truly some fabulous work! My rankings show where my “head” is. I am not of your niche’ so delinquent in my ability to convey my feelings or minds process in words adequately.
Kind and respectful regards,
Doreen
