Dear Moderator,

I am extremely disappointed in the amount of participation in my Christmas tournament. I only had 6 or 7 artists participate. I have used logo tournament on many occasions, maybe 10 times, and I've never seen participation this low. I also have another tournament going with a Halloween design and I'm very pleased with that one.

I am requesting additional time on my Christmas tournament and a plea on your part to invite more artists to participate.

Hi Mark,

There may be a few reasons for the low participation. One of them may the fact that at least in this contest, you haven't offered any direction. I hope you don't get this wrong but personally, I'm in both your contests and I'm hesitating a bit to develop new designs or update the existing ones because I have no idea what you want. This may be one reason.

The others could be the prize, the fact that quite a few designers are on vacation, that some of the active designers can't offer complex designs.. or another least know reason.. some designers look at the current entries and think they can't do better. :)

I wish you good luck and I'm sure if you send an e-mail to LT support they will extend your contest.

The part of that I don't understand is that my instructions in the Christmas contest are exactly the same as the Halloween contest and the Halloween contest went great.

I speak from my point of view now. I felt had more inspiration designing a Halloween theme. It just went natural. But that's just me. I love the colors, the theme, all of it. Maybe there are others who think like me.

Also, the Halloween theme is all over the place nowadays. There are a lot of inspiration sources, even unconsciously you're inspired by the ads on TV, on the web, while Christmas is so far, far away. :)

You can try providing some kind of feedback to designers for this contest, I'm sure most of us are glad to help.

I'm confused, you have asked for christmas colors, yet all of the designs ranked are valentine-like? are you wanting pink and blue, or christmas?

I would like to enter, but I am unable to find the font that was used in your logo. If you are able to provide a link to the font, that would be helpful.
