Slogan

"Training to win the battles of life!" Mission: Engage, Empower, Employ

What We Do

We use martial arts as a means to capture the hearts and minds of at-risk and victimized children and women, empower them with self-esteem and purpose, and mentor them on how to become healthy contributing members of society.

Industry

Non-Profit

Top Three Things to Communicate

#1 - Balance of both Strength and Humilty = the essence of martial arts
#2 - Children, family, life
#3 - empowerment and service (strenghtening onself and teaching giving back to others)

Our Target Audience:

We are a non-profit using martial arts as an outreach and engaging means to mentor high-at-risk children and abused/victimized women. Our target is simply the general public to raise awareness and support for these groups and want to look clean, professional and modern.

Color Preferences

strong anchor color for strength, empowerment, martial arts (blue, black, dark grey, maybe even red)

accent color:
Green (new life, positivity, energy, moving forward), light blue?

red (love, battle = fighting life's challenges) + dark grey (strength, empowerment)

Our Ideas and Additional Information:

Originally, the name MMA Foundation was a play on Mixed Martial Arts and 'breaking' out of the cage instead of being trapped and fighting inside a cage. But constituents did not like that reference anymore...too harsh. So then switched to some simple clipart logo of a karate teacher next to a young student holding their leg as if teaching a kick...but that is way too soft and generic.

Currently, the idea of something with a circular reference with ripple/resonating effect to represent growth, influence, life, spreading to others, etc...

Please NOTHING sterotypical or generic chinese takeout font or yin/yang stuff.
I like clever.
Also i liked the 2 sample logos 'meDoc' and 'for the love' because the symbol showed social unity and togetherness.
