must be an illusion.it shows it's aligned straight on the grid.

just a note to let you know i should have some new ones finished to upload later tonight, (Tuesday). (my last note I wrote said something about Wednesday--I meant Tuesday--that what i get for trying to sound sensible at that time in the morning when i have stayed up all night :-) ( Sometimes design requests come in at odd hours since this contest is multi-continental.)

(I am going to wait until I get a few that are more "finished and developed" than what i put up yesterday and with more variation.)

i have one more to enter if you would want to see similar to 457 with a laurel wreath around the shield and crown.

Also happy to change to lighter color scheme is you would wish.

ps: could also go with a lighter blue gray/green color scheme with the elements of 456 if that is what you are leaning toward now or a mix of that and either the darker blue or gold.

if you would like to see it, i do have one more design. I have a version of 457 with a laurel wreath surrounding the crown and sheild. (with proportions adjusted, of course), and also have a version of it done in the soft blue grey the dark blue and the gold combo which is actually quite nice.

Also willing to do any of my entries in the more blue gray/bluegreen color theme you seem to be favoring right now if you would like to see.

I think the lighter blue is better. Ot I was going to say really lighten up that gold color.

I want to get the crew to decide on a winner before I start asking for further tweaking.

Need to talk to the big boss, still.

I regret to inform you that the powers at be have chosen another logo. I feel terrible because I know how hard you worked on the designs!

I think your final design - and many of the others were fantastic! Just trying to get the right look for what we needed was tough.

I hope you can use them for other logos.

It's sort of ironic that in the end they went back to the initials etc (more like some that were happening in the middle of the contest like 285, 287, etc.only with a different surround and back to the original lighter colors :-)
so, was a little hesitant to swing back that way.

Oh well.

i was noticing that the contest still hasn't picked a winner yet, though today is the first day i have looked at it since our last contact.. Probably a moot point,but if you end up wanting to try other adjustments to any of my entries old or new, please contact me. Would be willing to do.
