The LoopLogo Design Contest

Seems like alot of people are being very literal with the design concept and using a loop.. In my opinion the company name "The Loop" is based from the street Apple Headquarters is located, Infinite Loop. So instead of using a loop image like the others... why not using something that symbolizes Apple (the product you are writing about), like the well known Apple Power icon.

Colours can be substituted between what is shown, either Aluminum on purple (dark background) or Purple on Aluminum (light background).
