This is compelling. It needs more "pop". Also, there is something too "Obama" about it, which is not compatible with many of our potential clients. Interesting...
One more note... my associate suggested you may need to work with more of a triangular beaker icon instead of the one you are using. Your design reminded him of a bong pipe.
Liking #57. Like the logo treatment. Reminds me of the logo treatment used on #40 (hint), which we all really like. The color blue is not quite right. I like that it moves away from the beaker thing... which may be just a little cliche.
Liked the effort of combining the conversation cloud with the beaker, but the end result was not quite right. If we can figure out a way to combine the "lab" and the "social media" we'll be rockin'
I like your work. What if... the dialogue graphics contained 1's and 0's or reference to code? It's just that the dialogue box itself implies "social media", but the molecules imply "chemistry". I suppose one could make the case that the molecular graphic implies "networking" but this is what I am thinking...
The word "liberty" suggests affiliation with the efforts of our potential clients.
The word "lab" suggests technical ability and collaboration.
The dialogue box suggests "social media" / "new media"
But the contents of the dialogue box seems to not be connected.
Also, did I mention that the font treatment in #27 is really appealing ;-)
A colleague made an interesting comment about #63... the "code" looks like an emoticon ;-) that they didn't understand. My colleague kept staring at it trying to figure out what it meant.
I really like the logo and so does my partner, but we are letting everyone have input and buy-in.
