The KnotheadLogo Design Contest

Thank you for your submissions! OK, so we don't want a formal logo. We are looking for something that is fun, but still explains the product which aids anglers in tying all kinds of knots. A character could be something to identify the product. A great example of what we mean is the back glass on a pinball machine called Fish Tales by Williams. While there is a tough fisherman trying to land a huge fish, there is a lot of humor going on at the same time. We want to convey a solid product, but a product whose image will make you remember it and smile at the same time.

Thanks again to all who submitted. When using The Knohead, the angler can tie an extremely strong knot, and we designed the product to be aesthetically fun. We are very interested in having a character or mascot, if you will, to reflect both qualities. I envision a cartoon fish skeleton bad boy with Knothead tattooed on its fin bone. It certainly doesn't have to be that specific, just use that as an example of the direction we want to head.

We here at Anchored Concepts have a good sense of humor and value a fun experience, and it shows in our products. For those of you that know a little about fishing, The Knothead product is primarily used in tying leader lines. Basically, tying one fishing line to another. When using The Knothead, your own knots are proven to be significantly stronger than just tying them by hand. This gives the angler an edge on competition, and a leg up on their prey. All that being said, I think we are heading in the right direction with rank #1. Looking for the same "bad boy" representation, with a silly cartoon demeanor.

We are definitely moving in the right direction. Great job! Maybe add a little irony. Have the fish manning the rod in a boat named The Knothead. Lol! I'm just spit balling here. :-)
