About the feeling of being 'drawn to it' - I personally think that it drills down to; that in comparison with the other concepts, as per your request/brief presented in this contest, are made with whole clothesline as an illustration. That is, they take up quite a lot of space and could become a bit hard to balance (with the text layout). They become more as illustrations than logos.
I checked your web page and I noticed of course your style with the stick-figures - and most designers seems to have adopted/developed that concept. I on the other hand wanted to create a more memorable, simple logo that is compact and balanced - and with just one element of the 'clothesline' (peg/line).
Also the peg placement is set to indicate an apostrophe in KID'S - making it natural for the reader/viewer.
This might/or might not go well with your existing figures, your call.
