Slogan
Kick-starting Your Life with Martial Arts
What We Do
The Kicker Effect is a not-for-profit public awareness campaign and the brainchild of a global association of martial art enthusiasts, activists, and corporate partners who hope to educate and inspire people across the world about the many benefits of martial arts. It is The Kicker Effect’s core belief that martial arts can affect positive change as not only a holistically beneficial activity, but also as a transformative lifestyle.

Color Preferences
The overall look and feel of the icon/logo needs to connect with and be applicable to a wide audience. It is STRONGLY preferred that this icon does not incorporate any of the traditional colors or imagery that is normally associated with or expected from a martial art school or program in order to avoid immediately turning the new audience (moms, women, older adults, individuals with special needs, etc.) off or tuning out to our message of hope.

For example:
• no red and black
• please try to avoid cliché martial art imagery or imagery that makes one think of violence
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The Kicker Effect needs a logo and icon that captures the inspirational feeling and uplifting message that this activity (martial arts) can make a positive change in their lives on many different levels; physical, mental, emotional. Rather than showing them a literal translation of martial arts, we hope to evoke a feeling of inspiration for them and open minds to try martial arts, which they may have previously stereotyped and thought wasn’t applicable to their lifestyle.

FINAL NOTES:
- Icon may be used independently of font treatment within logo in some instances; must be strong enough and compelling enough to stand alone
- A logo and icon lock-up will be placed on www.TheKickerEffect.org masthead in a space approximately 570 px x 115 px

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions
