Black, Grey, Orange, Red

We are a classic rock/blues band. We need a logo that is bold/brash but is simple enough that it is readable from a distance as this will go on a sign and a bass drum head. As we have "haf" or Half in our name (because half of the members of the band are named Nick) I would like to see a play on the word half...like things cut in half, etc... Could incorporate a Whiskey/rocks glass and or Tequila shots/shot glasses in logo. Would like to avoid flames/guitars. Excited to see what you all come up with!
