I've used a gothic font, I always think dark red when I think of the gothic era. I don't think the wings in the previous logo you had give a strong look to the design. They remind me more of angel wings. I thought maybe something simple but straight and strong, with the curve of the tractor you gave the example of. Just my thoughts. :o)

Hi Blue chomp! Thanks for your designs. . .I absolutely love the font you choose. . .perfect. I agree with you about the angel wing comment on the current logo. . .it looks like it's flying to heaven because it's dead. . not soaring through the sky ready to take on the world! The red you choose to work with is also perfect.

I'm all for the wings being strong, but I think they also need to be a little more complicated, so when people look at them they are recognizable as the "gorp" wings. . .the wings will probably be used in applications by themselves, on hats, shirts, etc.

I'm also wondering about making the outline of the tractor a little darker, maybe with stylized lines? perhaps? You can play with it. . .the logo will be going on the front of the energy bar package which will be black. Now, this means I will either use the inverse of the logo in white, need strong outlines or else put a white or maybe coloured circle of sorts behind the tractor so the design isn't lost in the black. . . .just some details to work with.

Thanks so much for your entries, I love them. . .let's just play with the wings, and body outline a bit. . that would be great. Thanks for taking the time.

Have a great weekend!

Hey Blue Chomp!

You have done great work. . thank you for taking the time to submit the latest versions. .. .but your original version is still the favourite around the office here. . .if we can work with entry #15 and just play with the wings I think it would be awesome. .. sort of like eagle wings. . .not tonnes of detail or anything. . I see bold sweeping solid feathers. . .like a tattoo almost. . .my husband loves the tractor because it is so similar to our original old massey. . .. if you are willing to play around a little more we would really appreciate it. ..

Thanks again,
Colleen

Hey Blue Chomp. .. awesome. . .do you think you could put the wings from entry #80 onto the logo in entry # 15?

I think that would be great. .. .

Gorp - I have introduced the color purple into my design as I see purple as another gothic color. I’ve made my wings more bat like with a crinkled edge. I have worked on my previous tractor design by adding detail to the wheels and changed the color to the deep red in my previous entrees.

Hi Blue Chomp. .. .thanks for all your efforts, and great design. . .I'm not sure purple will work well for a food product. .. for some reason people tend to shy away from purple in the food aisles. .. thanks for the effort though. . ..I keep going back to the original design #15 as my favourite one you've done for the contest. ..

thanks for all the changes and for working with my ideas. . .

To be completely honest I think I've decided on the top 3. . .

All the best. ... you are sure talented and I wish you much success!
