Cool! I never thought of bat-like wings for the tractor. . .very creative. . .I think this might be something to work with! I like the font and the ink splotch at the bottom, my only concern with the font is that it reads as "Corp" bar instead of "Gorp" bar. .. .is there a similar font that has a more recognizable "G"?
As to your design, I love the feel, you are definitely on the right track! My thoughts are that the tractor could possibly be too complicated. . . .if you could simplify it a bit to sort of match the wings. . I think that would be awesome. Also if you could face the tractor the other way so it looks like it is flying towards the right that would be great! I would be very interested in seeing a drawing of the tractor in the same style as the wings. . .swooping lines, less busy. . if you are up for it?
Ohhhhh Drakkar. .. . .awesome improvement on the tractor image. .. I liked the other one, but it was going to be a tad busy for some of the graphic applications I will need to use this logo. .. . this one is awesome. . .. could you use a darker red for the tractor? I think it would look amazing in a deep red or dark bluish green?
Just a thought. . . hopefully it's easy to play with the colouring. .. .

There is something very satisfying and elegant about your latest entries #109 and #110. .. .the only thing I'm worried about here is the font. .. it might be hard to read the word "Gorp", do you mind using the font used for "Gorp Bar" from #92 on the entries 109 and 110. . .. ..I think it would make them perfect. .. . .
hello Gorp. thank you so much for all the comments and ideas, were really useful to be near of what i needed. the first 3 logo, are really close to the gothic agressive style but not good to be imprinted in diferent formats, that's why i've worked on the logo and maybe changed radically, due to the ability to be used in diferent things, keeping the legibility, and above all, the formality and style of the company. i'd like to know more about you apreciation of the lastest logo #111, #112, #113 specially in the colors matters, and the direction of the tractor. The logo goes more to a trival tattoo style, making a wake, if i might say so, of ink in the floor on the way, together with the name of the company "Gorp Bar" giving the feeling of speed. hoping that you like the actual logo, i say thank you and bye.

The colour is perfect, the font is perfect, the wings are perfect. .. .my only question is if you can work with the tractor just a little to make it a bit more aggressive looking. . .. ? I hope that I am making sense. .. .I wouldn't change it alot. .. maybe just work with the lines a little to make the body more edgy? Love the font, love the tractor, love the ink splotch. Now I'm thinking about how the logo will look on the packaging. . .if my bar package was rectangular it would be perfect as it is, however my package is square. . so I need it to be a little more balanced. ..
This is my idea. . .what if the text was in the middle and you made a circle of ink splotch around the text like a trail made by the tractor. . .the tractor would end up underneath the "Gorp Bar" text. ..
I think it would look amazing. .. if you don't mind one more change I would love to see it. .. you have such a talent. .. I can't believe how many styles you can draw in. . .
Hello Gorp, well.... now the logo #143 keeps more it's balance, now is to keep the agresivity, speed, a legibility that i am interested to keep, because in this last logo it's visible in any size. I kept ink line, and it's more clear to see the direction of the tractor, and it gives more presence and attitude.

I like them both Drakkar. .. very much (#143 and #144) I'm wondering if we can use the tractor from #132 in the design with the ink circle (#144) It's looking amazing. . .I love it. The one comment I'm getting from others is that they aren't sure if the graphic is a tractor or not. .. .I think if we increased the size of the back wheel and made the tread more visible it would fix this.. . . and perhaps a tiny bit more detail all around. .. ?
Also, could you make the "G" in gorp have a stronger back slash (I don't know what to call it?) That little stick that makes it a G instead of a C. .. . hope that makes sense. .. people are saying that from far away it could be read as Corp Bar instead of Gorp Bar. .. .

I'm nervous to suggest this next part because I really really love the style in which you have drawn the tractor. .. ..but here is a link to some pictures of our oldest farm tractor which was the inspiration for this logo. . . .I don't know if you can do this or not. . but could you draw the tractor in the same style but make it look a tiny bit more like our inspiration tractor. . . .??? I'm nervous to ask this, please keep the style the same. . .maybe just change of few of the elements like a bigger back wheel. .. or the angle the front tires come from the body. . .playing with the grill. . .. ..Am I crazy? Do I make sense?
Drakkar that's awesome. .. I think if the front wheels were moved forward a bit they would resemble the ones on our old Massey tractor a little more. .. it's looking fantastic.

the shape of the tractor now has a more tough figure, to bring the sence of the tractor you've shown me on the website. i think now the tractor ir more well
achieved and understandable as a real "tractor" figure. the drawing style i kept it. i did the change of the font, and this last one you can tell the tractor
flew in the sky, drawing the GORP BAR with ink, and in the end showing itself in the center, just underneath the sun, i hope you really like the

Entry 161: the wheels forward look great. .. .but now the body seems a bit long. .. can we shorten it up a bit? We seem to have lost the feeling like he is pushing forward because the body is longer. .. I think? Also, the far back wheel that is peeking through the underside of the design is a bit confusing to look at for some people. .. they think it is part of the body hanging down. .. I know it's being picky but I'm trying to listen to my customers. . .(ahhhh) I'm sure you know what that's like! so if we shorten the body, maybe the back wheel can be made less visible? Those are my thoughts. .. .I love the energy of the tractor. . i think maybe the curved hood (like in entry 155) helped to communicate flying forward. .. .
Ohhhh. .. forgot to mention. .. the newest font entry was tooo scary for us! I'm busy searching the internet for fonts. .. any other ideas would be welcome. ..
Also. .. if you feel up for it. .. I had a brain wave about changing the sun into an earth. . .done in the same softer style. . and not too busy. . but recognizable as an earth. . .our little tractor making tracks around the globe is an awesome story and ties into the humanitarian efforts my company will be a part of. .. like third world agricultural development and kids sports programs like Right to Play. .. could be a very good story to tell. . .

I am thinking about using your logo as the main logo for my company as well as the energy bar. Do you think you could show me a version with the text "The Great Gorp Project" in the middle instead of "Gorp Bar"? You can use the same font or whatever you think looks right. And the tagline for the head company is "Make tracks. .. " so if you can replace Think. Fly. Roar. with "Make Tracks. ." that would be awesome.
Would it be hard to do a version of the earth in bluish green tones too?

hello, thank you so much for all your comments. now i used the mixed of colors that you suggest me with the new names. personally, i would stay with orange sun, because when we mix dark tones with others, we get a bad legibility, as you can see in "The Great Gorp Project" with the blue backgroung color, the tagline is missed, and that's because the font and also the blue are both dark, the same happends with the green, that's why the orange, with the yellow colors are contrast to black, so allow to distinguish the font of the logo. i'll try with another type of font, although i really like this one, due to the stylish thing... like powerfull? tough? grrrrrr... something like that hahaha.
the blue i puted as clearer as it was possible without getting to the point of being to shouty or shinny. the orange gives the feeling of sun, "ENERGY" or vitality, and also working with the earth concept that you suggest me. i like it. i think the logo can be used in both colors, depending of the surface, because it doesn't change the concept, anyway, i'm still open to your suggestions, the idea is to get to the perfect logo.
Great thoughts. .. I agree with you about the colours. .. the new "O" is much better. Could you do the same thing with the "G" and make the middle back slash a bit thicker. .. some people told me they may read it as "Corp" instead of Gorp!
I was also thinking about the placement of "make tracks". .. do you think it would work to put it on the underside of the track behind the tractor? like it's following the bend of the ink trail. .?
i tried the "made tracks" below the tractor and above the sun, and i also tried as a following to the ink trail. i think the best way to put the "made tracks" would be below the tractor, in a horizontal way, cause keeps more the balance in the logo, and at the same time is more legible. in my opinion should be conserved below the tractor or above the sun. those are my thoughts, also open to your thoughts to make it perfect.
Love the new colour version! It makes it easier to tell it's an earth. .. .I'm thinking that I will use that colour (#195) for the cocoa flavoured bar. .. and use a different colour earth for each flavour of bar. .. red/orange for the apple flavour etc.
Could you play with the blue version and maybe have it fade to a real grassy green. .. . then I will use that for the main company logo. .. .
I hate to bring this up. .. but as I've been showing the logo around. .. people keep saying that they love it, but think the tractor looks like a wheel chair. .. .so this is my idea. .. what if we play with the angle of the tractor a bit. .. and remove the back wheel from peeking under the body and flare out the far wing so it looks like the tractor is flapping. .. that way it will be less busy near the tractor body and you would beable to see the steering wheel better. .. . sorry to do this to you again. .. but I think it would do alot for people having a hard time understanding that it is a flying tractor. .. . ARGH. .. .I can totally tell it's a flying tractor . . .. but my customers will have to recognize it immediatley for brand recognition. ..
You can't hear me clapping. . .but I am Drakkar. . .I am. .. the tractor looks just like our little Massey on the farm. . .same wide stance and you were right to make the back tire more narrow. .. . perfect.
Now my only comment is the globe. .. I love the orange version. . it will be the apple flavour for sure. .. the brown version is cocoa. .. both these globes look like they are glowing or something. .. I'm not sure how you do it. .. but could you make the green/blue globe glow like the others. . .. ?
