Reuse / Repurpose Resources
What We Do
The Great Exchange preserves the value of items no longer needed by commercial and industrial entities that are closing, remodeling, changing operations, etc. The materials rescued are appreciated by service providers with limited budgets, including municipal departments, non-profits, schools, and youth organizations. Items repurposed through The Great Exchange include new and like new arts/crafts materials, janitorial, kitchen, mailing and office supplies, and office furniture and fixtures that can be used by another organization. We encourage business to look at unneeded items and materials as resources for others, not as trash, by making them aware of the reuse opportunities. Manufacturing by-products can be put to good use in maker spaces; a corporation’s “dated” furniture could be an upgrade for a non-profit, etc. To learn more visit https://devensecoefficiencycenter.wordpress.com/the-great-exchange/
