The Forgiven SonsLogo Design Contest

I wanted to try something a little different than the chromey biker gang logos submission you will probably see soon.

Here's a stylized motorcycle shape that kind of looks heavenly / angelic, with a strong font, and the "O" shape in "SONS" matches the tire shape in the bike.

Basic yellow on black for now (sorry I gotta split for a meeting!) but if you like this concept I can refine it later.

Something different to look at anyways. If you want a more typical look, that's cool! Thanks for considering me.

Black on white, just to show how the logo can easily be reproduced on dark or light backgrounds, and it's not all about "effects".

Don't let the current ranking scare you off. I really like the idea. You're right ... it's different than most others. I've got a couple other guys that will view all entries in a few days. The rankings will change quite a bit, probably. Thanks for the ideas. Great thoughts!

You're right ... I'm leaning another way. But this weekend, a couple other decision makers will join me and we'll look at all the ideas. Together, we'll figure out where we're going. Don't give up .. still days to go. Thanks for working with me.

Should I make another update to this concept?

I can add Harley-style wings on the sides of the text, but if you're really favoring the cross+wings concept then I will let the other designers continue with those.
