I like this... want the mug to be more prominent (larger and frostier) ..Still like the idea of using those old oval/rectangular signs... possibly around the whole logo or next to the character? I like the idea of an icy fish since we are going for the coldest beer in town! I like the fish character a lot maybe some winter garb...

Ok, awesome. This fish is a character I had drawn awhile back, but never got to use. He originally was holding a guitar. I just wanted to put him up to see if the style was in the right direction. Glad it is. I will now work on developing him so he is more suited to your signage. :)

Also the glass looks too much like a wine glass...Beer goblet is thicker with no real stem.

Yes :-) I have downloaded the reference photo and will be working off that from here on. I read your comment about the signs as well. Will see what I can come up with now.

What do you think about a white chef's hat on Frosty the Fish?

Perfect! I was trying to think of what kind of hat to put on him. The orange hat is supposed to be a trucker's hat, LOL.

#23 - Bigger Glass, Alternate fish attitude, more aggressive, sure of himself.

Still too much stem on the goblet. Looking for a little more match to the old sign on the roof. Will want to make sure this works in monochrome too. Thanks so much for your work you are very talented.

Thank you :-) Yes I will fix the goblet ASAP. just wanted to reassure you that you would receive all necessary versions of your logo for different types of applications. Monochrome, with and without gradient shading, etc. Most designers on this site will provide you with that. :-) and I certainly would.

Looking good... maybe a white background on the sign... what about those little emblems that kind of look like a star on the old sign? Am I being a pain? What about a straight chef hat.. denotes more of a cook than a pastry chef?

Not at all! :-) and I was wondering about the type of chef's hat. I tend to pick the more whimsical ones. :-P Changes to come.

Maybe I should drop the "the" we will see. Any way to make the sign look illuminated? You are very good and responsive.

I can make it appear illuminated, I will need to put it on a dark blue or black background to see it. check in in a bit...

See #35 - a more simplified version, no gradients or anything fancy, just black lines and color. Would most likely work better on signage.

Minor but I think I want the mug a little larger.....

Made the beer bigger. :-) I added the gradient back in for now (because it looks better on the beer) but it could always be removed later.

Still here, just let me know if there's anything else you'd like to see. :-) FYI, the fish, the hat, the beer and the logo text are all separate pieces, and can be sent as such for printing reasons.

If there is any way to tweak the mug a little a little chunkier a little less stem. Mable a little larger base on the goblet/mug.? Just perfecting it some.

I copied the mug from your photo exactly in my latest entries. See #70. I hope it is to your liking. Perhaps I will tweak the way the fish is holding the mug, since it is larger now?

I just uploaded two, one in a grayscale monochrome and one with just black outlines.
