complete eye care for all ages, this middle class city is outside of Baton Rouge, LA.
Color Preferences
i was thinking navy blue and white, but another office is already using these colors, so not sure.maybe black or gray the city's sports teams are purple and gold/yellow, but i wasnt sure that would look professional.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
i was thinking an eye logo, but would like to see some of your ideas. most offices use an eye logo of some type. i dont want anything with glasses because thats kind of old fashioned and doesnt portray medical eye care. Sometimes we just call it The Eye Center, so "of Denham Springs" is optional. also the Dr's name is Dr. Brandon Wax, and might be more recognizeable than The Eye Center, so maybe that could be incorporated.
here are some links that i liked the logo:

Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
thanks for the entries. All 3 look pretty good. so far my favorite is #1, i would like to see what it would look like with a different eye. #2 looks classy, but might look better without the dr name and a bigger "of Denham Springs" maybe you could make the eye look a little more realistic around "Eye"? #3 i dont really like the lower case lettering and it might look a little too plain for my purposes. im hoping to use the logo on stationary, my website, referral letters, business cards, etc, so something a little more eye catching if possible. (no pun intended) thanks for your time!
Some good entrys so far...would anyone mind trying something a little different similar to the 2 website links i posted? one has an eye that i kind of like (eye adventures)and the other has an eye and lashes drawn around the e (Hill Country eye center)
these are very good. Please keep in mind that this logo will be on exam forms, stationary, lab coats, shirts, pens and pencils, as well as the website, so i cant use anything that is too detailed or complex even though they look very nice. im looking more for something fairly simple and professional looking, probably with a nice looking eye. I can probably only use 1 or 2 colors. thank you all for your time and efforts.
these all look great. im favoring the simple designs, and would like to see some different styles of eyes if there are anymore.i would like a unique eye that i could use without the lettering if i wanted to. im trying to picture the logo on my lab-coat, so it must look medical/professional and not too cartoonish or artsy. thank you all for your time. Please ask any questions that might come up.
thanks for all the entrys, this is going to be a difficult decision. the colors dont have to be light blue, i would like to see what they look like in navy/royal blue too, and they will need to be simple enough to appear black on white background since thats what the exam forms will look like. thanks
What happened? there was only an hour left in the contest and i noticed that my top choices had been deleted along with alot of others. Was that logo copied or something? i extended the contest so i can figure this out. Hope this is not a problem for anybody...any feedback would be appreciated, sorry im new to this.
Thanks for the input, But from my standpoint, i am just looking for a logo for my business and dont mind if it is his original or not. As long as it isnt already copyrighted, isnt it ok to use? i am new to this and not sure about all the rules, but i am running a logo contest, not an art contest.
In the moment a designer craft a logo and publish it somewhere or participate with it in a contest it becomes copyrighted with the designer holding the rights. When a client buys the logo the rights transffer from the designer to the client. So in this case you were going to be in trouble since this was exact copy of an existing logo which was already copyrighted. I understand your point but I'm sure you're going to like some other original logo :)
i want to thank everyone who entered a logo. they are all very good and its a difficult decision. im going to take a couple of days and get some feedback from my friends and family before finalizing a winner. thank you all for your time and good luck in your careers. you are all very talented.
