Hi! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked in the top 10. We like to earn points.

~~ NOTE: While in JUDGING mode, the designer ranked in 1st can still submit revisions.

Firstly, Thank you for all your efforts so far.
Here is the first feedback to get you all thinking:

#9 - Hey Cr8tiveMeans, good stuff!!...liking the idea of something else around the logo making it an emblem, our concern is that the detail might not transfer well when used in conjunction with other artwork i.e its almost an album cover in itself - but saying that its definitely got the Kudos/impact factor. #8 has a 'comic book' feel to the font which doesn't fit.
#2 - Buon Giorno Larissa!.... interesting...don't like the -"eht" reversed and don't understand the significance of "Be" in the seperate colour...BUT if you wanted to rework it and give it some more impact or show how it would work as an emblem...could be interesting. #4 We kinda like that but it feels to thin and scruffy and the legibility of the "E' could be an issue.

Thank you for the other designs they were a little too derivative.

We will feedback on every new design that comes our way....so please have a go.

Hello again, more feedback:
#11 - Hey Don, Thank you very much.

All, please note that if using a background element in your designs we would like it to be....Well, we don't want to have to try and explain what it is to people..but its the first 'clean' take on the logo hence why its ranked high.

Bring them on...the band is currently looking through as many of your portfolios as we can to look at your work. Don't pass us, by we really want your take on our potential brand.

#12 - Don...Get In! ...now that's getting somewhere..although I still not convinced about the shadow background swirls...feels like it needs to be a bit more specific ...but it's good.

just FYI - you can click on any design and go to that designers page, and also leave feedback there as well. The benefit for the designers is that if you leave a comment there we are notified via email that you did. Leaving feedback in the general is no problem but for some - they may no get the message if they aren't looking here.

Good Morning All,

Big Thanks to Cr8tiveMeans and LuckyKid for the entries overnight - excellent.

We are loving the logo ideas that work as emblem on the album cover in conjunction with simple photography, but also stand alone on a Black-T.
So keep your ideas coming.

On the feedback front, we post generally here but also send lots of feedback through private messages.

And to those designers who haven't posted your designs yet - we are here waiting for your entries.
We are very open to off centre new designs that fall outside what you see above.
So, send in your curve ball designs and knock us off our feet!

Good Evening/Afternoon Everyone,

Thank you all so much so far. Just come off skype with the band and have re-ranked your designs
without the drummer who will see them later...(and if you know any drummers, anything could happen)

However,as things move towards the business end we will feedback to those designers who have submitted
with individual feedback.

And encourage the designers who have not shown their hand yet,...to have a go and blow us away.

(Perhaps the logo tournament designers ranked inside the top 20 just can't design band logos...hey ho )

We haven't ranked yet today as we are having meeting at 8pm GMT to discuss.
(yes, including the drummer!)
