Hi,

I really like these 2 designs. Without it getting too busy, do you think you could see what adding a second hook might look like. So it would look like two J's but keeping it subtle. Thanks!

Thanks for the input. I'll get to work on some variations and try and keep things simple too. I'll try and get them later today/tonight. Regards, foes

#77 is my best "double-j" so far. I'll see if I can work up an alternate combinations.

I really like this one with the 2 hooks! My sister, who is deciding with me, wanted to see if you could try two variations however. Could you please try one with the hooks back to back so one of the J's is backwards. Also, could you try one that has small THE, DOUBLE a little bigger, and then JACK the biggest.

OK, sorry, one other request. On the one with the rope making the circle, can you try the double hooks and increasing font sizes in that one (removing the two lines around THE). I really think this would look great embroided on a hat or put on drink koozies.

Thanks so much!

Sorry for the delay. I've had a crazy few days. I just now realized I'd been moved to first. I just uploaded a few new options with the JP combo look feel. #104 and #105 are flipped hooks with slight position variation, while #106 and #107 have the hook fully twisted into more of a "p" shape.

Let me know what you think and I can try more variants if you like.

#108 and #109 both have the smaller hook "p" hanging off the larger one. 109 does a bit of double duty hanging off the rope and still interlocks with the larger "j" hook.

Hello Foss,

We are most definitely going to with one of your deisgns. My sister is in CO and I'm in FL so we have to call each other to discuss these. We both agree that your designs are our top 3 for sure!

So, I'd like to throw a couple ideas out and see what you can do before we select the winner.

First, I have a Q for you. What format will the logo be delivered? Is it an .eps? I've never worked with eps, only psd. With an eps, will it be possible to hide elements for various media. For example, could I hide the rope layer if necessary for embroidery but keep it visible for screenprinting, stationary, etc.?

We really like the two J's you have. One of our Jacks is 78 years old and the other is 18 months, I'm wondering about one of the J's being a little smaller/shorter than the other. Also, could we see what the rope would look like going through the eye of the hooks, with the two J's hanging from it? Lastly, I like the entry (#82) where the emphasis is on JACK and the other two words are smaller font size. Maybe some play on that.

Thanks a bunch!

I just had a bit of a chuckle. I live in Nashville and am in Ohio for the week visiting family so I understand the distance. This site requires an illustrator EPS and it is possible to set it up to turn layers off much like photoshop however you or your vendor will need the program to do so. I would be happy to provide you with a PSD file as well once it's finalized. Ill just need your email address as I can't post those here.

Lastly I'd be happy to look at the tweaks you suggest I'll just need some time as I won't be back home o my files until Wednesday or Thursday. So if you can hang on that would be great.

My apologies for the delay. I just posted some new options incorporating a smaller 'j' hook, as well as an option that has the rope at the top going through the eye of the hooks. Let me know what you think and I can make an necessary revisions.

Also, regarding the with rope and without rope options. Now looking at it further, I think it would work best if i simply sent you both files separately. Once your contest is finalized, I can send you any necessary alternates.

#110 and #112 were HARD to choose from! We love them both! If there is any way you would consider sending the #112 file as the "non-rope" one, we would be greatly appreciative.

We plan to get a website going for the house and would be happy to give you credit for the logo if you would like. Just let me know how you prefer to see it acknowledged.

I believe you can only send one file but if you decide to send both, my e-mail is: egore1147@msn.com

Thanks so much for working with us on this project!!!!
