I like the strength of this logo, especially with the use of the word DOG so bold. However, I can't have a dog with pointed ears. I think also that simply a simple graphic dog and the wording would be enough. If you have the time to try again, I would like to see more of your work.
Thank you for your time.

Dear Brendan:
I really like the new dog. Perfect. However, I don't think I like the glasses. As we are going to have several departments in the company, I was thinking about leaving the thinking circle to denote the different areas such as "obedience" "day school" "boarding" "search and rescue" "agility" etc. could you redesign entry #78 without the glasses, fill in the thinking balloon in a deep beige, almost chocolate bordered in black. However, leave it blank. I really do like your design.
Thanks,
Debbie

Also could you for now put in the "thought circle" our tag line...I would like that in black.

Thanks for the speedy redo.

only a pleasure shout if you need anything else I initialy went for the German Shepherd for it intelligence, but with that also come a bit of an aggressive dog, hence I suppose the pointy ears, the next best then in my opinion is the Labrador. Both a family and working dog.

Brendan:
I talked with my friend the designer and while I personally have a lab and we both love labs, we almost think that the dog should not be breed specific. If you note what I have selected as my first choice, the dog is kind of a lab mix look. You are definitely right about the German Shepherd, definitely smart but there again, a little too breed specific. I love the strength and simplicity of your design and am a little embarrassed to ask you for another revision. However, if you could it would be helpful. You are really incredibly talented. Thanks for all your efforts.
