The Discovery is the only on the water (Grand Traverse Bay) event center in Traverse City Michigan offering an elegant and inspirational venue for people looking to create a memorable experience for clients, employees, family, and friends and we also offer daily tours of the bay for adventurers of all ages where they can learn about the natural and cultural history of the area while relaxing.

Caribbean blues and greens because that is the color of the bay water. Navy blue, light blue, teal blue, green hues, and white.

We want something elegant and traditional. Just an outline of the vessel and not any detail because it's about the experience and not just the boat. The boat is not particularly beautiful, but the experience will be. So a watermark of the vessel in the background or a suggestion of her lines. We do not want a digital reproduction of the boat in the logo. It is hard to get it just right so the outline or watermark or something like that works. Her name is The Discovery and we offer tours and events on Grand Traverse Bay. We would like that in the logo. Something simple and elegant. Maybe a hint of water or movement? Please no seagulls :-}
