Please continue to provide additional "D" options in the #28-type design. It is important to me to see "D" fonts that are not Olde English design. Also, I like the swoop at the bottom #28, but it looks a bit too much like the Chrysler insignia. Can you provide other options as the bottom design?

The aspect of #30 that I like (and actually all of these) is that we envision removing the "with Mike & Jay" in some uses of the logo, so that easily allows for that.

I appreciate your efforts!

Thanks for the feedback. Your last D was really close to the Tiger's. I think that if your new D is farther away, even if it is gothic looking should be okay, but your legal folks need to make that call. Let me know if any of these new ones look good.

I'm intrigued by the distinctively unique D in 41. Can you put the underneath "v" design that you have in #28 into #41? Also, can you make a separate one where you connect the top of the D that you have in #41 so I can see what that looks like. And if you have any more bottom design ideas (in place of the "v" type design and the new "plus sign" you added), I'd like to see those. Thanks for your continued efforts!

Thanks. I liked the D in #41 as well. Let me know what you think of the variations.

Can you put #49 on a white background with "The" and "Cast" in Blue, "Detroit" in gray.

Thanks for hanging in. Please play with the main "TDC" font ... Too block and standard presently. You can make the D most prominent, if that works. Also, think possibly about whether the TDC can be melded into a hat logo like the Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, and St. Louis Cardinals have. The microphone design in #61 concerns me a bit because the D begins to look like a football with laces.

Thanks again.

No worries. I spent 8 years in Ann Arbor. Are you guys directly out of Detroit?

Yes. Out of Detroit. If remember the Drew & Mike Show on WRIF, 101.1, that's where we're from. I produced that show for 18 years and started this daily podcast a year ago.

63 and 62 are really interesting. We are less focused on the main company logo (it's difficult to get our current logo, which we really like, out of our minds) and are now more interested in developing something secondary that could easily go on the back of a baseball hat or embroidered on breast of golf shirt ... something to use as a secondary identifier of the show. Keep "The Detroit Cast With Mike and Jay" in for now. But we ultimately may just used the interplay with the TDC.

Can you play with the size of the T and C in 62? Can you adjust colors in 63 to see what it looks like if we make the D very prominent? Any other creative blends of the T, D, and C?

#73 is pretty cool. I wonder how it would look --- the TDC part of the design primarily -- inside a shield-type shape. Sort of a badge look framing it. Very simple frame though, pointed at bottom with two dips at top, three pointed top. Can't think of an example. Hopefully that makes sense the way I described it.

Let me know how these look. I think that #80 is my favorite of the bunch. It's clean and easy to read. Would look great on a shirt or hat too.

On 73, 62, 77, and 78, can you use a font on the T and C that results in a bit less round C?

Can you soften the bottom of the shield, have it curve down into a point instead of straight lines down? Would like to see how that looks on 80, 77, and 78.

Thanks!

Let me know if that's what you had in mind for the bottom of the shield. Thanks.

Or did you prefer the shape of #86 ?

Good morning. I'm around most of the day if you have any requests. Thanks.

Really liking #83 and #115. But for consistency, can you change the font of the T and C in 115 to match that of 83?

My one concern about the blended letter designs, however, is whether it will cause problems embroidering or printing. Are the letters all too close together -- your opinion on how it might translate to embroidery on a hat or golf shirt?

Thanks for your continued efforts

Also, after you match the font as stated above, could you show me what it would look like if you made the the T and C in both 83 and 115 just a touch smaller?

Thanks. A good screen printer or embroiderer should be able to modify the artwork so it comes out clear. That said, there are always size limitations, so it would depend on the printer, method of printing and how small the logo is printed on the item. I've seen some embroiderers do amazing things with tight artwork and I've seen others completely mess up simple logos at a standard size. With this logo I'd be confident that a good printer could take the art and give you a good reproduction of the logo.

Can you make the T and C a touch smaller in #83 like you did in #117? I like the proportions of the letters in 117. (Maybe you did this, but I'm not seeing it).

Can you make the font type/size in #108 match #117? Keep the shield shapes different for now. Thanks.

Hey there. Just seeing where you were with the project. Let me know if there's anything else I can do. Thanks.

We're having a lot of trouble deciding between #120 and #117. You did a great job with both. Any chance we can declare two winners and keep them both?

The contest is for one design. Normally what we do is select one winner, then negotiate for additional designs that you're interested. Let me know if that sounds good. After the contest is over you can work one-on-one with the designer you select and not have to go through the LogoTournament system. Thanks!
