Hi Mick, here's the dog with the shadow. I can only have the shadow stronger in the oval itself. If I had it projected on the wall behind him like in entry #7 it wouldn't look right because he isn't standing. Let me know what you think about it.
... and here's a version of how it could look on something like a brown paper carry out bag. I simplified everything - took out the shadows and the highlights. This version will be super easy to print since it only has one color.
