Entry #25: This is very interesting. Your idea of a breathing element has great potential. It is the constriction in this "breathing element" or airway that is the common link between people who snore with sleep apnea and those who have head and neck pain. This constriction is caused by the tongue being too far back in the throat. The body instinctively over reacts to keep this all-important airway open and head and neck pain results.
This is getting more interesting all the time. I think the neck is a little big. I like the way you outlined the tongue. Please eliminate the part of the airway above the tongue and see what that looks like. The way it is now looks a little confusing. We need to still convey the impression of someone in pain.
