We're leaning in this direction. Can we see this cross elongated (taller, more distance between cross section and book, with the arms not stretching out as far). Definitely prefer this style of book
1) For now, drop all the words/badge. Let's JUST focus on the logo mark, as we can add the circle of words later
2) We like it with the bottom leaves removed - good job!
3) We prefer the versions that include the bible. The scale of the bible is off however. It feels small and crammed too close to the tree/cross. Try to redesign to remedy.
4) Some of our team felt that there are too many leaves. Or that because they're all the same size, the logo feels a bit like medusa, vishnu or even the starbucks cup lady. Let's try and fix that.
5) How can we increase the visibility of the cross? Though we like the dual-purpose of it being a cross and a tree, we'd like it to be clear that it's a cross.
Much stronger! I'll get some feedback from our team. We're definitely getting closer with each revision.
There is some worry that the bunch of grapes at the bottom could be construed as male anatomy. Is there a way to integrate fruit elsewhere? Perhaps rather than single dots around the leaves, 3 smaller dots, and remove the bunch of grapes?
Overall, you're on the right track with all of your designs. Here's some feedback from our team:
1) Let's see if we can emphasize the cross a little bit. Perhaps by removing the bottom two leaves, and maybe a stronger stroke on the cross outline?
2) We like the versions that include fruit at the bottom, because it's a clearer inclusion of the fruit. However, that placement could skew to look phallic.
We like #41 and #42 including the bible/scripture, but something about the proportion or layout looks forced.
One of our favorite parts of your design is that it mostly (except for the book), takes all of our elements and makes them one cohesive logo mark, rather than 4 symbols slapped together in a conglomerate. Let's keep pressing forward and see what you can come up with
I prefer the softer on the colors here vs. #30. The book aspect is a bit overwhelming - it becomes the focal point. Perhaps less color on the pages, or something?
Decent option - would like to see a more clear integration of fruit-bearing, as well as an integration of either a) holy spirit, b) scripture, or ideally, c) both.

Additionally, church is mis-spelled here.
