Thanks! Nice to see "Super 'Book' Man" in color! Now to the hopefully helpful critiquing... Entries #2 and #3 are too simplistic, lacking detail in the figure's face and the figure and logo in general. I realize that part of what I like about the 'romantic realism' is its simplicity. However, gradients, colors, tones, etc. are used in such a way that the picture still feels less cartoonish than I feel these two entries are. Still, thank you for progressing the logo! Nice work... exciting to see. Also, if it helps, instead of just calling the style I like 'romantic realism', it may help to think of it as a 1920/1930s sort of style. It definitely tends to have that feel to it. The Nick Gaetano page I linked to should really help give an idea of what I'm looking for. Thanks!
