Noticed the format reference to EPS only on the 'Contest Brief'.
We would prefer to have a JPG file version also. DAN

You ALL are excellent.
We like the various forms of depicting 'multiple family members' in the entries. We have liked silhouettes of family members in the past if anyone has access to graphics with family member real image silhouettes. Again... please use a Mom Dad and at least 4 children, maybe 5, of varying ages is best to depict a 'blended family'.
Use of subtle crosses has been good. Maybe another way is some image of God's hand under the family ...OR PROTECTING the family somehow....OR a glow around a family depicting a Godly spirit surrounding a family. I am just rambling here. I know the hardest part for Designers is for the Business Owner to KNOW more clearly what they want. Darn owners...just can't find good ones. Heh, heh. :-) We are flexible and love all ideas so far so thank. WE DO NOT IN ANYWAY WANT TO LIMIT CREATIVITY. The statistics and odds are that there are 40%+ of the Designers in this contest will come from divorced homes or step-families...or have a close friend in that situation. YOU KNOW the need for supporting families in such dynamics.
Remember we have a PICASAWEB GOOGE WEBSITE with previous years logos we have used, liked, etc. Find that site for references at.....

the buyer is aware that I did not win that contest and the tree is a version of that "unused logo"..Please do not jump to conclusions..

My husband Dan has been working on this with all of you. He sent me an email and asked me to look at all the great logos. They are all beautiful, by the way. At any rate...forgive me if I'm not doing this correctly...but I wanted to share something with all of you. I wondered if it could be applied to any of your designs.

While driving on an icy road yesterday…I saw a tree along the side of the road. It wasn’t a perfect tree…as it was quite ‘hit’ by life. Still it was good and attractive. The center was barren and two groupings of branches extending off the right and to the left of the base (trunk). The center branches were perhaps hit by wind or lightening and lost. I thought about the tree logo and wondered if anyone could create/alter their logo in that way…and fill in the ‘empty’ center with a cross growing up out of the trunk….bonding/ entwining and holding the two groupings of branches (families) together.

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

'Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain.' Psalm 127:1a

It's getting exciting. Thank You all. We like many concepts. Keep at it. The silohuettes of people (entry #24) we like - yet the colored background lessens the usability I think. CDINNUCCI designs were good (family holding hands), but currently withdrawn. My wife wrote about about the tree and a 'tree of life' concept still grabs her/us...but not 100% sure. For brainstorming think of 'bonding', family, unity, faith, love, children and parents. Appreciate you all. Have forwarded logotournament to many businesses and ministry. Many are 'watching and waiting'. One person in need of logo said...if we get 100 entries...logo tournament is a hot deal. 3 days 15 hours left...we can get there! Thanks to all! DAN

lovemybrands,

I have seen your work and I promise that I will never copy any of your designs. Ever.

This reminds me of a review that a diner down the street got......

The food's bad, but you get a lot of it.

You have all done an excellent job. Wow. Now...Dan and I have to make a decision?!!

Please stick with us as we move things around...rethink things....and change them around again. Each of your designs is being considered and reconsidered throughout the day....they're even showing up in our dreams.

There is such tremendous talent in ALL of you. I'll be looking at a few designs...then scroll down and realize there'd be one toward the bottom that I hadn't even seen yet. I'm glad we have some time to think and review.

I was never more impressed than the times several different designs were downloaded by some of you....all at once. The work behind that effort was incredible. Thank you so much.

I'm wishing now that I had brought our 11 year old daughter in to watch this competition progress on a daily basis. There has been no greater demonstration of hard work and perserverance, than what I have seen in some of you.

WOW ! We learned there are some outstanding designers across the world.

I have advised a local radio show that I am involved with to promote LOGOTOURNAMENT and they are going to run free spots for a month.

It was very hard to choose. Each entry had value, vision and true effort to capture the right design.

YOU ALL DID GREAT! THANK YOU !
