Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

Love the vibrant colors of Post 1, love the iconic value of post 15 ( it's recognizable from far away), but wish it had more movement. Please focus on at most two main colors.

Hi Ape,
It's tough to say. The reason that one of the flower logos is still ranked high is because we just like how clean and fresh it looks. We like entry 15 because it's iconic, easily recognizable, has some movement to it, and conveys a sense of peacefullness/center. It is a high contrast image, and the figure is an elegant form.

A family member with whom we consulted on this summed it up this way:
"Contrast and motion catch the eye, and the graceful curves of the image are friendly, non-threatening and non-authoritarian.
The simplicity of the symbol has several advantages, especially for a small business: it is flexible, recognizable, and memorable.
The "body" is an unique, calligraphic symbol that cannot easily be overlooked even in the
peripheral field of vision (as can circles, disks, etc.) or confused with other similar
symbols (think the MSN butterfly).
The image requires only one color - an economic advantage when printing - and works
equally well in black-and-white.
The background color could be changed, e.g. for special events, holidays, or to float over a
blue field where it would otherwise get lost.
It would carry well at just about any size - return address on envelopes to lobby posters and
banners. [It's usually a good idea to avoid very thin lines, and especially reversed-out
thin lines.]
The body symbol can be used by itself, without the color box.
The symbol and/or the box could be rendered in outline if needed."

These sentiments were echoed by our web designer, so there it is. We also like the font,

Forgive us if we've vascillated... we are NOT designers (obviously) and it's been challenging for us to bring voice to what we want in a logo. We apologize for being unclear and learning as we go along :)

LOVE the text on 64 and 65. Also find the logo on 67 interesting.

#75 is beautiful. Not sure about the shadow... maybe narrower and lighter? Thank you

78 is interesting! What if the person were further up, that is, had escaped further? It looks like he/she is partly buired. Also, not sure about the "bar" look, as it sort of looks like a toolbar on the computer. But we like the image overall if you can envision the person rising up out from the words? Thank you!!
