Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

General: the ratio of the logo should be more longer, than tall (more similar to #2 than #1). There is an existing back lit building sign that would save money if it can be reused. However, it is not mandatory.

#1: The black and gold looks good as it is very bold and classy looking. I am still interested in different color choices too. Boardroom is one word. The overall design is a little too medevial looking.
#2. This design is not warm enough and slightly too modern looking. I like the attempt of having a graphic incorporated, but I would like some insight on your vision for that idea.

It would be good to know what city or region the restaurant is in just to get an idea.

How do I rank the same logo with multiple colors compared to other designs. If somebody submits ten of the same designs with different colors, and it is my favority design, do I post all ten as my top ten???

Hi, yes you can rank colour variations of the same design in your top ten if you choose - but I would just say that if there are other designers work you like, its probably worth giving them a higher rank to keep the designers interested.

also when you close out the contest, you will have to select 3 different designers in the top 3 - the rest (4-10) can be from one or more designers, your choice.

Hope that helps.
