Thank you for reviewing my entries. Because this is mainly architectural signage, I kept the look very bold so that it will stand up to the scale of being placed on a building. I wanted to add a bit of the area (Hudson River) by using the wavy graphics. Additionally with some I included the skyline but kept it subtle so not to detract from your building. On #12 #13 #15 I including a roofline to represent the actual atrium thus also working as a stand alone logo. Lastly, please note the #12 and #13 have a subtle brick pattern included.
Feel free to request any revision from color to fonts. For now I chose a san serif font. I tend to like architectural signage to have a contrast in style - a modern look on an older renovated building - but that's just my personal preference. :)
Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to get them in ASAP. I tried to search for the building on google to get a feel of the architecture but could not find it to see what font may look good. I'll make the suggested changes and use a serif font.
I managed to upload a few (but not all) before the "Open Phase" ended. The contest is now in Top 5 mode, so only those designers that have been ranked can submit. You would need to rank at least one of my designs in order for me to have an "upload" button available. You can always re-rank afterwards. :)
No Problem, I just uploaded. I also included #25 with the word "ATRIUM" vertical and the other words horizontal. That may make it easier to read since it is only one short word, while still being large scaled on the banner.
Is it possible to to see the building or get it's location? Is it a a very tall high-rise. Also is there is any unique architectural feature or something on the facade that may work in the banner. Even seeing the atrium could help too, so that the banner matches or simulates the actual building.
entry 27 - can you make the sky look more like the manhattan skyline - empire state building, chrysler building, citcorp plaza, (incorporate the iconic skyline buildings of manhattan - you will see them on google images)
Please let me know if these are better. I can add more detail, if you prefer, but I think it is better branding to maintain a skyline abstract view rather than adding to much focus on other buildings that are not "The Atrium at West Hoboken".
