Discussion

Noted you did not mention an emblem...thought that might be an idea that says 'elite'.

Try something different in the background. Shields are typically used for logos. We are looking for something unquie for Atlanta GA. Maybe try a different font too. Georgia is known for peaches

Peach girl.

Client
Like the peach. Now maybe try to incorporate the skyline behind The ATL showcase

Added the skyline and added a color to make it more peach-like as an option.

Client
Really liking this direction. Maybe try outlining the skyline in white? Also thinking we need a different girl in the middle. Not so animated
11 years ago

Logo Designer
Can you explain 'not animated' - hair too flared?

Client
try more of an outline of a player.

maybe something like the player this logo: http://www.t300showcase.com/ but instead of looking away - have them looking towards the audience.

The player in the logo above is a logo that we used for another event of ours - so we wouldn't want it to look the same - but just a general idea for you.

Also there is a little too much dark blue. maybe try to lessen the thickness of the blue line on the outside of the peach. Outline the skyline in white?

We are also considering the tag line: Achieve The Lead

#21 - i like that the peach doesn't dominate the logo - but is still included.

less energetic...who would have thought elite players would get tired so easy ;)

Client
I agree. Player looks less energetic. Maybe try just an outline? Having a pony tail is fine too.

An outline of the girl against the peach?

also, the navy blue in the sky line and the navy blue in the line on the outside of the peach over powers the tournament name.

I need to go off for a while... I can be back on maybe later tonight or tomorrow.

Client
okay - sounds good. We really like the direction this is going!

Logo Designer
added an option with the more dynamic girl but a lower profile stick.

Client
girls lacrosse player should look similar to player in file i just uploaded. The girl in the USA uniform.

Client
Can you try modifying #21 to have the blue background like #26 and a more dynamic player like the image we just uploaded? Stick position should be on angle more like you have it in #38. And we like the hair in 26 and 38 better too because it makes her look like she is moving faster. Use that hair in 21 as well.

Client
On #21, also try adding our tag line "Achieve the Lead" below the tourney name.

Client
Still working towards a few minor modifications on #39 which is our favorite. The stick is a little too long and a little too "top heavy". Also, be sure the stick appears to be in front of the players right arm. Its hard to tell right now.

Logo Designer
1) top heavy - fixed
2) stick - shorter
3) added highlight to impress the feeling that there is more depth.

Side note - if I actually chosen as the winner eventually, please remember that the top 3 designers must be different and that a top 10 needs to be ranked.

on #39, can you reduce the bust size on the player? Maybe get rid of that blue line of definition?
On #26 can you apply the same changes to the girl?

Logo Designer
#41 - blue bust line removed.

#43 - white behind girl

Client
#42 - can you try on the white back ground. We like the lay out. Thinking now it's to much navy blue. Maybe try making the peach with a gradient

Client
#44 - can you give us an option that doesn't include the player. Try extending the skyline across the beach (and behind the word "THE". Make "THE" stand out though. And then including a lacrosse stick somehow in the skyline.

Client
I meant Peach in my previous comment. NOT beach. Typo!

#47 - edit. I made a stick (on my own) based on the image you gave.

Truthfully, unless I am misunderstanding your intent, the horizontal stick is slightly bland.

Client
Can you try making the stick in #47 just a little smaller? Do you mean the stick position is bland or that the type of stick is bland? Feel free to try your own suggestion on the use of stick and no girl.

#48 - On have a morning perspective, I can see why you asked for that more simple design now. I think that your request to make it smaller makes the overall design look better. I had the sizing wrong so I think it may have made it look 'off' to me.

Please let me know if that sizing is more appealing.

Client
Maybe even a little smaller on the stick still!

Logo Designer
#49 - even still :)

Its looking good! Can you bold the words Achieve the Lead a little bit more.
