Slogan
Christ-Centered Sober Living
What We Do
The Ark is a Christ-centered sober living facility currently with one location in Loveland Colorado that will be home to men that have completed a treatment program and need help with the next step in their sober life.
The goal is to grow from this single location to having multiple facilities that will serve men, women and teens. So the overall logo should represent the larger mission of the organization which is Christ-centered sober living.
The target audience would be the future residents of the facility, the treatment centers that are recommending The Ark and the donors that support the nonprofit as well.
Below is an excerpt of the brands story for additional detail and clarity:
At The Ark we know that you want to reclaim your life and stay sober for a lifetime. In order to do that, you need to overcome the pain and devastation that addiction has created in your life. We know the world preys on addictive tendencies, isolates you from those you love, and can lead to a life of bondage and despair. As addicts ourselves, we understand this which makes you feel weak, out of control and unworthy.
We also know you deserve the opportunity to restore your life and overcome the wreckage left behind by your addiction. At The Ark we have a unity of purpose fueled by our faith and bound by our own battles with addiction. Our purpose is to share all that we have learned in our daily triumphs over addiction to help you overcome yours.
We provide:
A Safe transitional Home
Faith and Fellowship
Life skills training for a lifetime of sober living
So, join us in our fight to help those who have gotten off track restore hope in their lives through His merciful love.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
We would like to be sure the logo creates a sense of hope and restoration however would like to avoid any confusion that the logo belongs to a church.
It would be important to ensure that an ark (the ship itself) isn’t used too literally as that is traditionally associated with more lighthearted children’s stories rather than the very deep work being done at The Ark.
Something we would like to consider is the possibility of seeing a pair of hands cupped together to form what would appear to be the hull of the ark.
Incorporating both a graphic and text as part of the logo would be ideal so that it can be broken apart if needed.
This should be meant as a guide and not a requirement that limits your creativity.
