The 7 Minute LifeLogo Design Contest

ref to #1 and #2...I can raise the "the" a hair to look better

#1 is currently ranked first, because I am looking for something fresh and new. I like the colors yet we want to stay away from pure orange and black because we don't want to be associated with Halloween.

I would like to see some ideas in lime green focusing on the LIFE issue. I would also like to see some added design outside of just the word art.

#1 is still cleaner looking, but I like the effort in #2 to bring out the 7 in Seven Minute Life. However, I am looking for it to be very clean looking and more web 2.0.

I would still like to see more design work. See the logos for Origins Real Estate and Ellis Energy.

#1 Can you try re-stacking your logo and showing some different designs with the 7 being made larger?

#38 Can you make the "The" smaller and the "7" bigger to see what that would look like?

I would like to see some more graphics included like #38 and #49. Could you try a sun?

Can I get any feedback as to how to improve #34?

I am looking to go for a whole new look and feel. Would definitely like to see more of the creative ideas on how to make this work graphically. I would like to graphic usage of the sun, or other ideas that explore life and passion and productivity. I want people to look at this logo and want to find out more about how they can make their life better in 7 minutes.

Feel free to try adding a blue color in if that helps. Look at ATT.com for the blue and orange colors.

I am still fine with orange and lime green, I just thought the blue might give you more latitude in the design work.

I like several of the currently posted logos, and I would like to see some that come with the same colors but have a completely different new look. I am hoping some artists will come up with some new graphics that exude the life theme.

Some of the entries seem to be saved as RGB images. It would be better for CH to see their CMYK versions as you never get such vivid CMYK colours (only direct ones) when printed. Just to avoid later disappointment...

Agree with Paull. Most of the entries are not saved with popper color profile.

I really like the new graphic designs in #160 and #161. I would love to see more abstract original artwork like this. Great job!

#127 and #77 are currently our favorite designs - they are clean and exude the "Life" idea with the colors and the abstract sun.

#112 this designer has offered a new and fresh perspective with some original artwork and clean lines.

#129 is a great idea using a circle of 7's as the key element of the graphic. I can see this idea being expanded. You can see the 7's more easily in version #128

Several great new posts today, so many of you are on the right track. I am so appreciative of the creative colors and graphics. I have to work until late this evening, will post comments later.

We have just under 3 days left in the contest and I am amazed at how talented all of you are. There are any number of ideas that are very good. In the next few days, I would love to see some of you forget about what we said we wanted in our logo and let your creative juices flow and see what you would want a logo to look like if you were creating a project called "The 7 Minute Life" - forget the color restrictions, forget that our primary target audiences is business people. We now have seen a lot of great suns, which we do like as they speak to the life concept.

I would love to see some fun and exciting logo designs that focus on excitement and passion and the exuberance of life. Be bold. Have some fun. And thanks for your original and creative ideas.

Don't be afraid to be wacky and outlandish. Think of the Life is Good t-shirt idea. It has been a huge hit from a stick person, who would believe it.

With two days to go, tonight I am narrowing the entries to several of our favories. Hopefully, this will give you designers a better feel for what we are looking for. As you can see, we seem to be draw to bold logos.

With that said, I would still love to see some new ideas that are completely outside the box.

One day left. I would also like to see some of you create originally drawn graphics for the 7 in the logo. I want originality and not just standard fonts for the 7. Any ideas.

#358 is a brand new creative look. GREAT job, want to see more bold original looks like this.

Less than 5 hours to go. We continue to be amazed by everyone's creativity.

3 hours left. I am really liking the new work by Dragonfly, Boxmagic and Pappa Daz. Would love to continue to see everyone's final ideas and variations.

Allyson Lewis please bare in mind that it is more fair towards the designers to give each of the top ranked positions to different designers or different logo designs and not just to different color variations :-) Usually the moderators point this out but i guess they forgot this time.
