Might consider picture and words in logo.

We're considering using photos of a cruise ship on the website www.the24hourauthor.com to symbolize the ability to work anywhere and the freedom to choose own hours.

entry #2 I like the colors used in the logo as well as the lettering and text. I don't want a clock, though as it sends messages of "hurry, time, pressured, etc."
I want to send a message of enjoying what you do and having time to relax.

entry #8 I like the shade of green and the palm trees. I was considering having a cruise ship somewhere on a matching website.
I think I like the orange, but I think it needs a little bit more color. I do like the text and style, especially in "The Author."

entry #4 Again, I like the contrast of lettering between "24 Hour" and "The Author." As much as I like the combination of red and black in general, I don't want it on a logo.

I do like the chair as it gives a "relaxed" message. I also like the lettering of the texts.
