Just did our first ranking...all of the good...i think we like the graphic mark outside the wordmark like #4 & #6 (ranked as 1 and 3). We like the block lettering of all of the top 3 ranked designs. Keep up the good work

DO NOT USE SHAPE OF TEXAS such as #1, 2, 6, 12, 13. Use colors of Texas flag like #1-16. Will rerank in morning US time. Keep up good work

Hi designers! Thanks for your good work. We have just re-ranked the entries. Here is what we like:
- simple and clean word mark
- Lone Star that has a clever picture mark indicating motion
- deep and rich blue and red colors - see logo from this football team for color sample only http://www.houstontexans.com/

What we DON'T like:
- complicated word marks for Texas Next
- colors other than the deep and rich blue and red cited above
- NO SHAPE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS

Advice: I think a clever and clean moving Lone Star picture mark is key to a winning design

We will re-rank within the next 24 hours...keep up the good work!

Also, i can see we have too many words in the tag line...wonder if it might work to shorten the tag line to "Texas Capital [star] Texas Businesses"? Would appreciate seeing some ideas on this.

If possible, i would like to see some variations of Texas on top of Next with Capital and Businesses at the right of Texas, either resting on top of a wider Next or resting on top of the star mentioned in the previous post. Possibly, the star could be between Texas and Capital/Businesses. This reduces the number of times that the word "Texas" is used in the logo.

Hi Designers, Thank you for all your hard work. We have a lot of great designs to choose from. It was a tough decision to rank the top 5 logos/designs -- but we have not made those decisions.

For the next phase, we would like to see some variations of the top 5 ranked logos (#54, 108, 82, 73, & 74) with the taglines / subtitles we want to use with the main TEXAS NEXT logo.

In general, we want the emphasis to be on the TEXAS NEXT word mark and the graphic mark; however we would like to use some "light" words using gray or the blue in the logo below the word mark for different purposes. Again -- we want these words NOT to take away from the focus on TEXAS NEXT, but to subtly compliment them.

The taglines / subtitle words we want you to use to generate these variations are:

- Fund
- Capital
- Texas Capital Building Texas Businesses

Thank you and good luck!
