maybe some of you artists can help me out here - should I be leaving my comments here or with each specific submission? I think this site is great but some of the specific nuts and bolts are not clearly explained.

General comments (intended for all designers) can go here. Comments on individual designs should go under individual designers' discussions (they will receive a notification each time you add a comment).

Hi, everybody! Thank you for your great submissions.

I am learning from this experience that (duh) my business name does not do enough to describe what I do. So could you please try adding a simple descriptive line "web site design" or "your web site solution" - I look forward to seeing what you can come up with.

Hi. Thank you once again for the great submissions.

A couple of points:

1. I have decided that I prefer the tag line "your web site solution" rather than "web site designs." It sounds positive and avoids repeating "designs." But you don't need to re-do your submissions just to change the wording - I will assume it's changeable.

2. I have moved a lot of submissions to the "not interested" category. I hope no one is offended by this - there are a lot of great logos in there! But I do not need to keep seeing 6 variations of the same thing. I feel that clients are not given a lot of clear guidance about how to handle the whole ranking and judging thing, although I have picked up some pointers in the forums. I think if someone has submitted 6 variations of one design, I will only rank it once. I hope that's fair.

3. Also, there are a lot of new submissions (thanks!) so I might extend the contest a bit. Again, I don't want to offend anyone but it's helpful to me to let these great choices simmer a bit in my mind.
