Hi Peter, here is my concept for Tempus Academy. you can definitely see abstract book/papers, with college shield, also inside the shield is actually arrow (the shield's negative space). the one like an 'online' arrow to show the connection that this is an online academy. i made the arrow subtle by circling them together so that it won't obviously seen as an arrow, but on second look, you can see that it's the 'online' arrow. also you can see the initial, T (for Tempus) inside the shield (the shield's positive space);
Hi Wolv, Thank you very much for posting some very interesting logos to our contest. And thank you for the new addition today (#161). Actually, we like your concept about the open book (#108, #109, #110, #111 & #112). We think it's a strong because of the simplicity. We would like you to focus on your concept about the abstract book/paper. We acknowledge your creativeness regarding the arrows and also the T-arrows on the frontpage. However we would like to ask you if you could consider other symbols signaling 'international', 'academic world' or 'time' and perhaps focus less on the online element. And it doesn't necessarily have to be a form as a shield. Another thing we thought about is the colours; do you think it would work to gradient the colours of the pages in the icon? We are not completely sure wether we should stick with the more classical colours as in entry #108-#110 but you are very welcome to experiment. Generally, we must say that you make very nice logos!
thank you for the detailed feedback. this is just what i need so i can figure out what you need from the logo. i think i have design just as you need. i will post later, however i have to stay on the top 5 to be able to post a new design for your contest. ok will keep you posted. thx
